| This article starts with the popular appearance phenomenon,criticizes the appearance phenomenon,deeply excavates the relationship between science and technology,capital and aesthetics behind it,and tries to think about the contemporary aesthetics on the basis of this,and puts forward the way to reshape it.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,this paper is divided into three parts.The first part describes the appearance phenomenon in the context of consumerism.Starting with the emergence and development of the word "appearance",this paper analyzes the appearance phenomenon in the context of consumerism,combining with the transformation of the present consumption society in China.This paper argues that there are three kinds of phenomena that concern about appearance in consumer society: one is that appearance becomes the object of consumption;the second is that appearance becomes the utilitarian pursuit of the masses;the third is that appearance becomes the product of science and technology.The second part makes an aesthetic critique of the appearance phenomenon in the context of consumerism from the aspects of science and technology and capital.First,it is the manipulation of beauty appreciation by science and technology.Appearance homogenizes aesthetic activities,erasing the diversity and naturalness of human beauty,hiding technology worship behind the publicundefineds pursuit of beauty,suppressing human perception by reason,and losing subjectivity and integrity as the subject of aesthetics.Secondly,it is the infiltration of capital to the beauty of appearance.Under the commercial operation of capital to appearance,manundefineds body is separated from the attribute of natural things,dissimilated into commodity,and people lose their main position in aesthetic activities.The intervention of capital will make the appearance value become the symbol of consumption,and make use of all kinds of means to create the symbolic meaning that has nothing to do with the product,aiming at the desire of the consumer main body to pursue the appearance value,in order to achieve the purpose of profit from it.The third part is the aesthetic reconstruction of the appearance phenomenon in the context of consumerism.This paper puts forward two ways to reshape the beauty of beauty: one is to reshape the personality of harmony between sensibility and reason,so as to liberate peopleundefineds sensibility from the materialization dilemma dominated by science and technology.At the same time,it is necessary to pay attention to the guidance and sublimation of reason to emotion and desire.The second is to reshape the aesthetic pursuit of transcending utilitarianism,to treat the beautiful face and body with a non-utilitarian vision,to make the appearance return to the natural nature,and to get rid of its commerciality and become a truly free aesthetic object. |
