Nowadays Chinese economics has got an unprecedented level of development and high position on the world stage,and thus many countries take an interest are interested in popularization of Chinese language.Chinese culture has a great influence on global community too and it is getting deeper and deeper every year.Confucius Institute is a glaring example of how popular Chinese culture and language became.A high percentage of Chinese culture and language learners is increasing,growing from year to year.Many universities in western countries have already introduced Chinese language as a new subject to the curricula,but English native learners in the process of learning Chinese face with a problem in reading and writing Chinese characters.Chinese characters and English alphabet have a huge difference in writing caused by,due to complexity of Chinese characters.English native learners in the process of learning use psychological and study habits which are closely connected to each other.This study is based on the investigation of,in mistakes in writing Chinese characters made by English native speakers.On this basis,the author suggests proper teaching strategies focused on writing Chinese characters for English native learners to increase the level of knowledge in learning Chinese characters.This study consists of five chapters.The first chapter is introduction that explains the difference between research background and its meaning and purposes.It is also describing the analyses of researching the main parts of Chinese characters,ways of learning Chinese characters and the aspects in teaching Chinese characters.The study is presented by reasons,methods and novelty of work.The second chapter consists of English letters and Chinese characters characteristics and its comparative analysis to give in-depth analysis in mistakes in learning Chinese characters made by English native learners and recommend some teaching strategies.The third chapter is focused on the questionnaire results to identify English native learners' conditions in learning Chinese characters process.The article also expounds the study's subject,its length and methods.The forth chapter is focused on the questionnaire results,and analysis the causes and classification of mistakes that English native learners made inwriting Chinese characters.The fifth chapter is presenting the teaching strategies in learning Chinese language by English native speakers.The last part is conclusion that sum up the research results.
