| Lexical chunk teaching is a teaching method proposed by foreign linguists,which regards lexical chunks as the basic unit of language teaching and applies them to English practical teaching activities.With the deepening of research,some scholars have found that this teaching method is not only suitable for English teaching,but also can be used in Chinese teaching as a new teaching method.With the implementation of chunk teaching method,students can master more chunks,express more smoothly and speak more authentically,and at the same time,improve their enthusiasm for learning more.Although foreign students with higher Chinese proficiency have mastered a large number of vocabulary and grammar rules,they will make various errors in Chinese writing.In order to solve this problem,we introduce chunk teaching into the advanced writing course of Chinese International Education in the hope of reducing students’ writing errors and improving students’ writing level,so as to improve students’ oral and written expression ability more comprehensively.This paper is divided into six parts,including the following research contents:The first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the research background and value,current research status,research difficulties and innovations,research methods and corpus sources.The second part is the first chapter,"Definition and Classification of Chinese Language Blocks".This chapter makes a preliminary study of Chinese Language Blocks.It mainly reviews the definition and classification of Chinese Language Blocks by the predecessors Shixiu.On this basis,it makes clear the definition and classification of "Language Blocks" in this paper,which provides a theoretical basis for the following statistics and analysis of Chinese textbooks and foreign students’ compositions.The third part is the second chapter,"Investigation and analysis of lexical chunks in Developing Chinese Advanced Writing I".This chapter mainly investigates and analyses the lexical chunks in Developing Chinese Advanced Writing I,statistically explains the classification and distribution of lexical chunks in textbooks,and paves the way for the analysis and suggestions of lexical chunks in foreign students’ compositions.The fourth part is Chapter Three,"Statistics and Error Analysis of Lexical Block Distribution in Overseas Students’ Compositions".This chapter mainly investigates and analyses the lexical chunks in Overseas Students’ Compositions,including the category,number and distribution of lexical chunks,and makes statistical analysis of the lexical chunk errors in students’ compositions.The results show that students use the most semi-coagulated structural chunks in their compositions,but they also make the most errors in such chunks.The fifth part is Chapter IV "Teaching Suggestions for Advanced Writing Course Based on Lexical Chunk Theory",which puts forward suggestions from three aspects: teachers’ teaching,students’ learning and textbook compilation,with a view to promoting the application and development of lexical chunks in the teaching of Advanced Writing Course in Chinese International Education.The sixth part is the conclusion,which includes a summary of the overall content of the paper,the shortcomings of the study,and the hope for future research. |
