New Concept Chinese is a new generation of teaching materials for Chinese as a foreign language published by Beijing Language and Culture University Press in 2013 and edited by Cuiyonghua.It can be used by adults and self-learners,and can also be used in classroom teaching.It is a relatively new set of teaching materials for Chinese as a foreign language that has a wide range of use and influence.At present,there is not much research on this teaching material.The main content of this article is to analyze the content of the new concept Chinese(intermediate)teaching materials,and to systematically discuss and analyze the vocabulary,language points,texts,and exercises of the teaching materials by means of statistical analysis.The author found that in terms of vocabulary and language points,its number and level do not meet the requirements of the outline;The theme of the textbook is humorous and humorous,but there is a phenomenon of superclass in the topic,and the genre of the text is relatively small;In practice,the quantity and type of questions are also unreasonable.At the same time,some amendments were attempted in response to the question section.
