Textbooks can reflect the two fundamental aspects of language teaching: "what to teach" and "how to teach".The text,as an important part of the textbook,is directly related to the quality of the textbook and the quality of teaching and learning.In order to promote the development of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,we should pay more attention to the arrangement of the text in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.At present,there are few researches on the text arrangement of teaching materials of Chinese as a foreign language.Therefore,this paper selects two textbooks of intermediate Chinese comprehensive course which are widely used and authoritative at present,and makes a comparative study on their text arrangement.Through comparison,we will have a better understanding of the text features of these two textbooks,find the shortcomings,and put forward suggestions for the future arrangement of related textbooks,and make contributions to the continuous upgrade of textbooks in the cause of Chinese international education.This paper takes the “development of Chinese intermediate synthesis "(I)and" climbing intermediate Chinese course "(I)as the research object,from the topic,the genre,readability,and cultural project from four aspects of the two materials of the text has carried on the contrast analysis,the text of the topic number,distribution,and the situation of the order of the contrast,summarizes the existing problems in two textbooks are now arranged subject;Then the paper analyzes the number and distribution of the text genre and summarizes some problems in the selection and arrangement of the text genre.Then,the readability of the text is compared and analyzed from the perspectives of grade a words,difficult words and function words,and the problems in the distribution and readability of the text are summarized.Finally,the paper compares and analyzes the characteristics of the cultural items of the two textbooks from the aspects of the cultural items and the specific cultural items,and summarizes the problems existing in the cultural display of the textbooks.In view of the above problems,the author respectively from the topic,genre,readability and cultural items and other aspects of the relevant recommendations.
