"Equation" is extracted from the social life and the "equation" of art is the general rule of art form.It is a unique symbol of artistic expression and artistic language.The formation and development of art equation is influenced by nation,region,culture,faith,aesthetic idea,etc,which is the history of social development.The art "equation" in various Chinese culture,such as poetry,dance,drama,architecture,calligraphy,painting,is relatively stable with the regularity of Chinese traditional culture.It is a common phenomenon to use equation language in the art creation.After thousands of years' development and artists' struggle,a series of equations have been formed for Chinese painting,the same as Chinese traditional literature,calligraphy,and opera.We can say equation is one of the most prominent features of Chinese traditional painting,and it is closely related with China's traditional mode of thinking.China's traditional mode of thinking tends to make things symbolized and standardized,like copying handwriting.All of Chinese dynasties have always attaches great importance to the study and inheritance of "equation".The equation language of Chinese painting has been generated during the refining,sublimation accumulation and summary of artists in the process of understanding and reflecting the natural life.The later artists are able to,after learning excellent paintings and the“equation”,acquire the painting skills quickly and then create more works.The equation of Chinese painting,no matter in the past,now and in the future,has played a very important role.Therefore,when today's Chinese art is influenced by western culture,researching the inheritance and evolution relationship of the “equation” is particularly important for the future development of the traditional Chinese painting.The analysis of the “equation” language could help us to better inherit and develop the fine tradition of Chinese painting.
