Research On Sheba Day Of Tujia Nationality In Western Hunan From The Perspective Of Folklore

The "Sheba Ri" activity is a national comprehensive holiday celebration featuring Tujia people’s worship and prayer,accompanied by song and dance entertainment.This paper takes the Xiche River town in Longshan County of Xiangxi as a field investigation point.Through the field investigation of Berna zhai and Peng Jiazhai,the Xiche River town and the Lao Dong village under its jurisdiction,the author contrasts the process of the disappearance and restoration of the tradition of Sheba Ri under the impact of modern times.Through the combing of the academic history,the author focuses on the present situation of the "Sheba Ri" from the angle of folklorism and the response of the people to the festival.The folklore culture is a dynamic process.The author tries to view the traditional festival of "Sheba Ri" in the view of development,and studies its functions in national identity,cultural integration and economic construction under the background of the convergence of the globalization culture.The full text is divided into three parts.The first part,from the historical,economic and cultural status of the fieldwork,the sacrificial process and the development process of the traditional Sheba Ri,and the inheritance and innovation of Sheba Ri after the restoration of the joint force of the official government,the folk organization and the local people to discuss the inheritance and innovation of Sheba Ri from the traditional to the present.The second part emphatically expounds the concrete folklore events such as the swing hand hall,the sacrificial main people,the present inheritance subject and the application of the new media in the activities.The third part mainly discusses the presentation of the main functions of Sheba Ri activities.The inheritance form of Sheba Ri activity is a traditional revival and invention.In the third part,the author focuses on the present presentation of the cultural integration,the pattern of folklore tourism and the subject adaptability of the people after the invention of the Sheba Ri tradition.Under the background of economic integration and cultural economization,many national cultural heritages have gradually disappeared or changed because of their changing living environment.How to make the essence of the dying national culture better adapt to the development of contemporary society is a question worth pondering.At present,under the joint force of the official government,the intellectuals and the ordinary people,the activities of Sheba Ri are constantly innovating and revitalized on the basis of inheritance.
