After doing many investigations inWengding Wazu Community,Cangyuan,Yunnan Province,the writer decided to take Mr.Yang Sandao as the subject of this film.During the shooting process,surprisingly,the writer found that symbol-titled identities are vanishing.There are multiple identities of Yang,including king of Wazu,Moba,a doctor and a farmer.However,the identity of king of Wazu cannot be traced;the identity of Moba cannot be proved;the identity of witch doctor has been transferred into a herbalist,and farmer has no farming mission.How to visualize the disappearing identities is the main issue that the paper focus on.Yang Sandao,is presented in front of people.His identity has no difference with the actors who played heroes in Hollywood or Snow White in Disneyland.The development of cultural industry and patterns of globalization development reflect a coexisting trend culture exists in minority area in the forms of capital and resources,which leads to the second resonating in local cultural industrial development and global cultural industrial development.During the process of the mixing of globalization,industrialization and localization,different identities is disappearing and melting;the original exist of Yang's true identity has actually disappeared.In this paper,based on thinking about Yang's identities,taking documentary "Yang Sandao" as ac the evidence,the image of identity disappearing is researched,and the criticism and explanation organized in the deep structure of this paper is also researched,which differs from the specific-to-general pattern.In this film,the methods of taking documentary are conducted from the anthropology's view,to record the disappearance of Yang's multiple identities.Meanwhile,through the discussion of the identity disappearance,the social changes in many aspects are such documentary explored,and the shooting skills and existing issues in making is pointed,and various is tried to express the disappearance of multiple identities.During the shooting process,the deep meaning about displaying itself which is worth thinking is also researched.It's not overall to record a documentary from a single way to discuss the disappearance of the identities.This paper is not only to make an explanation to how to make a documentary,but it also need to be researched on it.In order to supplement the identity value and research meaning which cannot be reflected through images,this paper focuses on the discussion about the expressions of cultural identities,the thoughts and the explorations of identity disappearance.This paper is divided into six chapters.In the first chapter,the shouting process and the introduction to the film is presented.From the second to fifth chapter,the four identities of Yang and the practices of image render about the disappearing of the multiple identities are analyzed.And related issues including thoughts,implications and criticisms about the multiple identity,are discussed.This paper is not only a description of culture,but a supplement to the documentary,which makes it have high values on related researched.The documentary "Yang Sandao",taken as the image material of fieldwork,supplements to the paper,and provided multiple records and expressions for further research.
