Around the 1980s,Western subjective philosophy came to our country and became a research hot spot in various fields at one time.Affected by the subject theory, the research of subject-education attracted increasing attention. However, with the deepening of research and practice, the limitations of subject theory gradually exposed in educational activities. As an extension of subject education, subject moral education c an 't avoid falling into the "predicament ofsubject",which urges researchers to find new theories to solve the problem.Mr.Tu Wei-ming is a representative of modern Neo-Confucianism and an important contemporary thinker in the study and dissemination of Confucian culture. His neo-Confucianism has had extensive influence in the world.Under the influence of globalization and pluralism,Mr.Tu Wei-ming advocated the systematic and critical examination of the traditional Confucianism, and committed to the modern transformation of Confucianism. In the 20th century, faced with the most important "human problem",he conscientiously emphasized Confucianism's self-cultivation and self-interest study and formed a humanistic view based on Confucianism. In this article, the author generalizes it as a "ego-self'.According to the existing literature, there are few researches on "ego-self'-concept in Tu Wei-ming's thought in our country. There is almost no comparison between the "ego-self" concept and the subjective concept from western philosophy in the background of moral education research.Based on the study of the predicament of the subject, the author got the following conclusions.(1)The subject moral education theory based on the subjective philosophy,it takes the moral subject as the training goal,on the one hand,it emphasizes respecting the student subject's position relative to morality,on the other hand.(2)Influenced by the dichotomy of thinking, rational thinking and individual utilitarianism.the subject's moral education faces the risks and challenges of weakened moral function, moral rationalism, and moral utilitarianism.According to the research of ego-self-concept in Tu Wei-ming's neo-Confucianism,we draw the following conclusions:(1)Ego-self is composed of internal structure("mind":mind, spirit, personality, humanity)and external structure(body:body, social role)(2)The self has such characteristics as morality, openness and continuous formation.Morality is the most basic human presupposition, and the openness.(3)The ego-self-growth means the common development of"body" and "heart",in the ultimate sense refers to the individual to the highest level of human nature Realm, moral realm.(4)Self-transformation depends on individual self-conscious efforts.Based on the above conclusions, the author further analyzes the implication of ego-self-concept of moral education and gets the following enlightenments:(1)Body and mind have important functions in the process of personal moral growth, but both need to be trained in moral education.(2)The setting of moral education goals should encourage students continuously to enrich their spiritual life through morality.(3)The students are independent individuals and also the total of the relationship.Moral education should guide students to actively construct and handle complex relationships.(4)Moral education should focus on guiding students that by caring about everyday life,we could actively construct morality.By comparing the concept of ego-self and moral subject, the author thinks that ego-self-concept can make deeper and more farsightedness than moral subject in the relationship between human and morality, deal with the relationship between man and others, between man and self, and to some extent, make up the concept of moral subject Insufficient.
