Research On The Spread And Localization Of "Poetry Mirror" In Tibetan Areas

The Mirror of Poetry is a well-known poetry book in the history of ancient India for its collectiveness of various contents.In the first place,The mirror of Poetry was composed by the great scholar Dandi who studied poetry his entire life.He took the merits,subtracted the demerits and accomplished his purpose.In the 13th century,a Tibetan scholar,Sakya Kunga Gyaltsen,introduced the mirror of Poetry to Tibet and translated some parts of this text into Tibetan.He focused on in-depth studying and inward reflection,and he placed a high premium on the cultures from other civilized countries.Afterwards,the greatest Tibetan translator,Hongdun Dorje Gyaltsen,translated and edited various parts of this text into sakya vihara,and began to spread the thought of sanskrit grammar and poetry to Tibet.One of his famous students,Pang Lhodzu Danba,was the first to revise the text and disseminated the system of this poetry to all Tibet.So the text has become a root of Tibetan poetry and is in full bloom.Five chapters and fifteen sections constitute my thesis.In the first chapter,I wrote about the history of poetry in India-foreword.In the second chapter,I covered the spread of the mirror of Poetry in the Tibetan area.In the third chapter,I have written about the inheritance of the mirror of Poetry.The fourth chapter is about the dissemination of the mirror of Poetry by Tibetan masters.In the last chapter,I have written about the value of the mirror of Poetry.
