Bai Juyi,a famous poet of the Tang dynasty in China,was widely read in Korea,Japan and Russia in ancient times.There are a number of contemporary Russian scholars,Bai Juyi’s poetry,translation work.This paper focuses on the spread and acceptance of Bai Juyi in Russia.The first chapter is the introduction.Introduced since the 20 th century,in the context of sino-russian cultural exchanges and friendship,Bai Juyi is a Russian scholar Tang poetry translation focus on the author.At present,the representative achievements of Russian translation,introduction and study of Bai Juyi mainly focus on the study of Bai Juyi’s life,literary thought and translation of his works.Bai Juyi’s approach to communication and reception in Russia is summed up.The second chapter is a study of the stages of Bai Juyi’s communication in Russia.From the Russian translation of Bai Juyi and the research results,the process of his communication can be divided into three stages: the beginning period from 1900 to 1935,the leap period from1936 to 1969,and the deepening period since 1970.The time of communication mainly took place in the 20 th century,with Bai Juyi’s translation as the focus of the study,alongside the study of poetic forms,prose content and Zen Buddhism as the main ideas,with the representative sinologists trained in Russia as the main subjects,when sinologists more,the formation of the 20 s and 30 s a little active period,40 to 70 years 30-year golden period.Chapter Three is a study of the translation and introduction of Bai Juyi’s poetry in Russia,starting with the works of Ejdling and Ashley.Dr.Ejdling was one of the most famous translators and researchers of Bai Juyi’s poetry in the Soviet Union.In the history of Sinology in the Soviet Union,Ejdling translated the collected poems of Bai Juyi,which was the first monograph of Chinese poets translated and published by Sinologists,with a total of 148 translated poems,it can be said that Ejdling made a great contribution to the study of Bai Juyi’s poetry translation in Russia.The other scholar is Bai Juyi,who has a broad field of study and extensive knowledge of Chinese language and culture,which is of great help to his translation and introduction of Chinese literature,including Bai Juyi’s poems.The two showed their respective characteristics in the translation of Bai Juyi’s poems,which had a great influence on the later Russian sinologists.The fourth chapter is the study of the characteristics of Bai Juyi’s poetry in Russia.The first part introduces the Sinological School in Russia.In the process of spreading Chinese culture,literature and art,the Alek School,which is the most important school of Sinology in Russia,has formed distinctive features that distinguish it from other sinological schools,and while improving the overall level of Sinological Research in Russia,also for the Chinese culture to the world has made great contributions.The second part,the Russian sinologists’ exploration of the Chinese poetry translation methods,the results are particularly outstanding,as follows: High-standard,high-quality translation;faithful to the original;A translation method of rhyming lines in harmony between Russian and Chinese.The fifth chapter is the reason for the spread of Bai Juyi’s poetry in Russia.Social factors and Bai Juyi himself.There is a long-standing political,cultural and economic exchange between China and Russia,and poetry is one of the most important bridges between the two countries.The second part is the attraction of Bai Juyi and his poems to Russian scholars.The impact of the study on the cultural personalities of the researchers who translated and introduced Bai Juyi will be an interesting topic.The third part is about the similarities and differences between Bai Juyi’s poetry and Russian poetry.This is also one of the important reasons for the spread of white poetry in Russia.
