Analysis Of The Linguistic Features Of Yinan Village Name

Yinan County of Shandong Province has a long history,and its natural and geographical conditions are rich and diverse.These historical and geographical conditions are typical of the 1152 existing village names.The village name in Yinan has both the characteristics of the general village name,and at the same time,it has its own specificity.It is only known by its generic name.Yinan county villagers with "village" of "zhuang" do at the same time,there are "ditch(GouZi)","valley(yuzi)","mountain(son)","mouth(cut)","store(shop)","spring(spring)","hill(ridge)","Alfred chuang","Tuan ","slope","lake "," camp","river" and so on in the name of the TongMing rich individual character.This uniqueness and complexity is one of the main reasons why we chose to study the name of the village of Yinan.This article takes the 1152 natural villages in Yinan County as the object of study,and comprehensively adopts the field investigation method,corpus analysis method,data statistics method,and classification research method.The contents are related to the use of syllable structure and words in the name of the village of Yinan.Exploring and interpreting language features such as generic names and the use of rhetorical figures.This article is divided into five parts.The first part of the introduction mainly introduces the reasons and background for selecting the names of villages in southern Yunnan,the historical status and trends of research on geographical names and village names at home and abroad,and the scientific methods used to study the names of villages in Yinan country.The second part studies the syllable structure of the name of the village in southern Yunnan and divides it into two types: the two-syllable pattern,the three-syllable pattern,and the four-syllable pattern.It also analyzes the form of the syllables inside the syllable structure.The third part elaborates on the special names and generic names of the village names in the southern part of the village.Finally,starting from the whole,the complex relationship between the generic name and the proper name in the name of the village of Yinan is explored.While studying the vocabulary of names of villages in Yinan county,the author deeply analyzed the in-depth reasons of the words used in the selection of names in the village of Yinan and involved a variety of factors.A simple generic name or a proper name is often a deep fusion of multiple elements.The process of general name and special name features is also a process of digging deeper into its hidden cultural connotations.The fourth part is from the perspective of rhetoric,studying the rhetoric used in the name of the village of Yinan.According to the specific application of the names of villages in Yinan,the rhetoric patterns in names of Yinan villages were analyzed from the aspects of metaphor,borrower,figuration,and personification.The fifth part concludes with summarizing the general outline of this article,pointing out the main innovation value of this article,pointing out the deficiencies and omissions,and proposing the problems to be solved in future research.The name of the village in Yinan County is rich and varied.The composition of the village name or some characteristics of the village name is not a manifestation of a single factor.It is the result of a combination of various mechanisms,and carries many layers of history,culture,and customs.Such as connotation,therefore,when we analyze the language features such as pronunciation,vocabulary,rhetoric,etc.of the village name of Yinan,we deeply explore the formation mechanism behind the name of the village in conjunction with cultural and other elements,thus adding more to the description of the language characteristics of the village name.Explaining the space reveals the unique connotation of the name of the village in Southern Yunnan in a more comprehensive and systematic way,and enhances the value of this study.The main innovations in this article are reflected in the following aspects:First,on the basis of summarizing the types of generic names in Yinan Village,the three characteristics of the generic names are summarized.They are:1 The generic name has a certain regularity in distribution;2 The generic name has a certain regionality in the word selection;3 names have a distinct originality.Secondly,in the study of generic names and professional names,using the viewpoint of mutual connection,it was found that there existed a phenomenon of “exclusive use of names” in the names of villages in Yinan,that is,the use of generic names as the proper names in the names of the villages.There are three situations:1 The common name appears as part of the proper name in the name of the village;2 name substitution alternative special name followed by another name;3 names substitute completely for proper names.Through studying the name of villages in Yinan,it is helpful to reveal the language mechanism within the village name,enrich the connotation and theory of village name research,and provide some reference for future village name research and village name naming.Meanwhile,for the Chinese culture Root-seeking and the development of human culture have a certain significance.
