Fromm's Thought Of Alienation Of Human Nature

Fromm is a famous psychoanalyst,philosopher and sociologist.He is also an important member of the Frankfurt school.His lifelong study is mainly about the various social systems and cultural systems of the contemporary world,especially the various realistic problems,contradictions and crises of human existence in western social and cultural life.And he was striving for the key to the realization of human happiness and spiritual freedom in his lifetime.Among all the theories of mind that Fromm has learned,the most important are Freud’s psychoanalysis and Marx’s theory.On the basis of western humanism and bourgeois democratic standpoint,he combined both of them to create their own theory of psychoanalysis and human nature,and he puts forward the thought of human alienation.From the perspective of the living circumstances of modern people,Fromm discusses the human nature and the contradiction of human existence in the sense of biology and psychology,and he puts forward the psychological analysis theory of social character and social unconsciousness in combination with Freud’s psychoanalysis.In the face of the existence of modern people,he has carried out a more comprehensive analysis of the alienated people and the sick society,and he puts forward the salvation of the people.Class and the psychological revolution theory and social reform measures to establish and improve the society.On the basis of the analysis and interpretation of Fromm’s human alienation thought,this paper compares his theory with Marx’s alienation theory and Freud and Carl Jung’s psychoanalysis theory,finds out the achievements and shortcomings of the theory,and finally makes a dialectical value evaluation on Fromm’s dissimilarity of human nature and seeks for the present construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics real meaning.
