With the progress of science and technology,teaching methodology has also developed quickly.Some new and advanced teaching ideas and methods have been used in our teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,such as the application of Chinese TV programs to Chinese as a second language curriculum.This will certainly to facilitate teaching and learning.In The history of Chinese as a foreign language education in China,the video/multimedia materials have been applied frequently,however,the entertainment programs have not been used on a regular basis.The application of TV entertainment program breaks through the traditional teaching mode and the restriction of teaching materials.If we can interpret the relationship between TV entertainment program and Chinese language teaching,we can find the best combination of the two,and perhaps improve the teaching system of Chinese foreign language and improve the quality of teaching.This paper takes Chinese TV entertainment program as the subject,using the methodology from the literature plus case analysis as well as empirical research methodThis paper consists of three parts,namely introduction,methodology and conclusion.The introduction includes The reasons,theoretical basis,concepts and research methods of the topic.Chapter one is the feasibility of TV entertainment programs to the teaching of foreign Chinese.Chapter two is the selection principle of TV entertainment program.This chapter mainly discusses how should the educators select appropriate TV programs based on relevance,entertaining elements,and methodology for Chinese learners.The third chapter discusses the application of TV entertainment programs in theteaching of Chinese as a foreign language from four aspects,namely pronunciation,vocabulary,grammar and Chinese characters.Chapter four is the to demonstration of the application of TV entertainment programs in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language from four aspects,namely listening,speaking,reading and writing.Conclusion contains summarize the research contents of this paper and points out the innovation and deficiency.
