| Since 21st century,the new generation of female directors has shown a very active status in this male director-dominated film session.Their works are not only frequently awarded in the major domestic and international film festivals,but also achieved excellent results in Word-of-mouth and box office.In the new generation of female directors,Li Yu director is the creative power that can't be neglected in the development of Chinese female film.The number of her films is not too large,but it is highly rewarding and very noticeable in the film market.Therefore,it is very urgent and important to study of Li Yu's film.This thesis takes Li Yu director all six film works as the research object,and carry on the thorough analysis.This thesis is divided into four parts,and systematically expounds the female characters in Li Yu's film works.First of all,through the investigation of the current research on the female characters set in Li Yu Director's film,which established the content to be studied.Secondly,It mainly studies the background of Li Yu's growth and the classic female role she created in the film;One again,It mainly studies the plot setting of the female characters in Li Yu's movie,including the plot setting"Runaway" as the ending and the plot setting of the Women face the predicament of living;At last,In Li Yu's multiple films can be found in the personal experience of Li Yu's projection,such as the absence of men,parents do not match,intimate and distant parents and so on.It mainly studies the relationship between female characters in Li Yu's films.Including fragile mother-daughter relationship,"marginalized"homosexual relationship,"Oedipus complex" mother-child relationship and unbalanced gender relations,which gradually made Li Yu's image of female characters plump up.Through the research on the female characters in Li Yu's films,it not only improves the theoretical system of Li Yu's films,but also plays an important role in the development of Chinese female films. |
