The history of the Western Jin Dynasty literary history is an extremely important part of the history of medieval literature. It inherited Jian’an and Zhengshi literature, and relied on the Eastern Jin Dynasty literature.Pan Yue and Lu Ji are important figures in the history of Western Jin Dynasty literature. Both of them lived in the turbulent era of the Western Jin Dynasty.Their creations must have the same color, but because of their different personalities and their different life experiences, they have their own literary creation.specialty.Although Pan Lu’s personality is indeed tainted,it cannot deny their talents in literary creation and their achievements in the history of literature. The number of literary creations of Pan Yue and Lu Ji was very impressive at that time, but it was a pity that after the change of the times, there were very few complete works so far.In particular, only two dozen of their prose were written.Scholars have traditionally focused their research on the poems and mourning texts of the two people.Other prose styles have not been taken seriously. This dissertation aims to make a systematic study of the prose of the two as a whole, set aside the haze of history, combine the style of the times, explore the deep motives of Pan Yue and Lu Ji’s creation, and analyze the similarities and differences between two prose creations. In this thesis,Pan Yue and Lu Ji made four types of essays from the content, and then proceeded from two aspects: the content of the prose and the artistic characteristics. Finally, the author summarizes the creation of the two in prose.Differences in the contents of Pan Yue and Lu Ji’s two prose essays show that both of them have demonstrated outstanding political skills in the political essay, but Lu Ji’s realm is broader and the method of demonstration is more complicated.Pan Yue and Lu Jidu both expressed their condolences for the deceased in the sad essays of the time when they felt sad,but Lu Ji also expressed his exclamation over the passage of time. The ideological and deep creative motives in the two prose are quite different.Pan Yue and Lu Ji’s proses all show Confucianism. The difference is that Pan Yue’s thought is more complex,Confucianism is dominant, and it also permeates metaphysics. In the last two prose, there were works of aunts and flattering.Their motives of creation were also different.Pan Yue was an ideal and Lu Ji was a family.Although Pan Yue and Lu Ji’s essays bear the marks of the times of the Western Jin Dynasty, their respective characteristics are also very obvious.Pan Yue cherishes emotions,Lu Ji takes care of himself,Pan Yue prosely essays areclear and beautiful, and Lu Ji’s essays are more splendid and elegant.Pan Yue’s scenes in the prose show a strong sense of the scene, and Pan Yue’s scene is more elaborate. The greatest innovation in Pan Yue’s prose is to change the order of the mourning text: to use the narrative narration method to preface the book, and to expand the length of the preface to become the major order. The use of lexicon, rhythm, and duality in Lu Ji’s essays have a significant impact on the later texts.
