On The Narrative Of Suffering In Su Tong's Novels

In the contemporary Chinese literary world,Su Tong is a pivotal writer,whose creation began in the 1980 s and has been continuously created for more than 30 years.In this more than 30 years' creative career,Su Tong has experienced pioneering literature,realistic literature,new historical literature and other creative trends,while Su Tong can lead the creative trend but also adapt to the trend to make changes,contributing to the contemporary literary world,one classic after another.In his novels,Su Tong has Inherited and developed the literary tradition of Chinese modern and contemporary literature concerned with human suffering,it forms the suffering narrative of Su Tong.In his novels,Su Tong reveals the real living conditions of people behind suffering,and pursues the realistic significance of human existence.It tries to explore the spiritual dimension in the narrative of suffering,and probes into the complex relationship between suffering and salvation in history and reality.This article takes Su Tong's writing angle as the research object,on the basis of combing and summing up the suffering narration in Su Tong's novel,discusses the meaning behind his suffering narrative.The main part of this thesis is divided into four chapters.Chapter one discusses the origin of the suffering narrative of Su Tong's novels,mainly from two angles,one is from the Chinese modern and contemporary literature suffering narrative tradition,analyzing the inheritance and development of suffering narration in Su Tong's novels to the suffering narration in modern and contemporary Chinese literature.The two is based on Su Tong's personal life experience as an eye to the analysis of the writing source of his misery narrative.Chapter two mainly discusses the specific connotation of suffering narration in Su Tong's novels,Mainly from the hardship of survival,the crisis of life,the despair of emotion and the depression of politics,the narrative of suffering in Su Tong 's novel is classified.Chapter three mainly discusses the aesthetic characteristics of suffering narration in Su Tong's novels,mainly from the perspective of double suffering narrative,fiction and imagination in suffering,symbol and metaphor in suffering to show the personality exploration of Su Tong in the artistic techniques of novels.Chapter four puts the suffering narration of Su Tong's novel into the visual field of pioneer literature,and compares the suffering narration of Su Tong with other writers,such as Can Xue,Yu Hua,Ge Fei,and so on,From the perspective of violence,death,desire description and other factors in his works,uses comparative methods to show the commonness of the vanguard's suffering narration and the individuality of Su Tong's creation.Thus in the overall perspective of literary development Su Tong's novel creation has a more macro grasp.
