Writing Suffering Related To Soul

Jin Yi was famous in the literary world in the Nineteen Thirties and Nineteen Forties. However, due to his early death at the age of 50, people haven't known that he was such an important writer in the history of modern literature. Based on suffering writing, dissertation attempts to research novels of Jin Yi from various aspects, such as the meaning of suffering, the form of the artistic expression of the suffering, the source of misery consciousness, the values and disadvantages of his suffering writing.Chapter I of the thesis analyzes the meaning of suffering of Jin Yi's fictions. The novel of Jin Yi will be divided into two parts: composed before the War of Resistance Against Japan or the composed after the War of Resistance Against Japan. Before the War of Resistance Against Japan, the meaning of suffering of Jin Yi's novels includes: the suffering of urban love, the survival suffering of the urban poor and the suffering of interpersonal relationships. After the war, the suffering of meaning in the novels of Jin Yi includes: the family's suffering, the people's suffering, the survival suffering and the suffering of interpersonal relationships. Using the theory of dissertation, the thesis puts forward my new point of views, such as the story mode that the woman abandoned her lover, concluded by the suffering of urban love, revealing the dissimilation by money occurred on the girls in the city and criticism of the author on capitalism and the modern city. Chapter II of the thesis will analyze the form of the artistic expression in the novel of Jin Yi such as the sentimental atmosphere, the significance of psychological description for the suffering writing and the narrative strategy of the suffering writing. The thesis analyzes the text seriously through applying the narrative theory, such as the significance of narrate angle of view for the suffering writing. Chapter III of the thesis will analyze the source of the misery consciousness from several aspects, such as the reserved character and the sympathetic philosophy, misery experience and the effect of the modern literary upon the suffering writing. The thesis thinks highly of the value and the status of the suffering writing of Jin Yi and analyzes the disadvantage in his writing.
