Critical Research On Mohist Decoration

Mohism's Confucian doctrine held that his core proposition was not enough to make the country prosperous and the people live and work happily.On this basis,it opposes the Confucian "self-denial" and advocates the words of mohism itself,and criticizes the luxury of decoration of the current Lord by using the standards of virtuous behavior of the ancient holy king.The mohist school "bring the benefit and abolish the harm of the world" as the value of mohism traditional design principles,through "frugality,funeral-controlling theory,anti-music thought " three aspects of words,draw the outline of the social background of mohism decoration criticism,discourse system,logic structure and value orientation.In order to further clarify the enlightenment of the critical theory system of mohist decoration to today's society,this paper strengthens the analysis of ancient Chinese design thought theory.
