Research On The Evaluation Of The Value Of The Copyright Of Chinese Film Works

The film industry is one of the core industries of the cultural industry,but the study of the copyright valuation of the film works is still relatively few.In this paper,the value of copyright assessment of film works is explored,and the evaluation methods and their applicability are analyzed and studied.For the film copyright value assessment of the majority of scholars who have studied the income method,this paper want to explore through the market comparison method to assess the value of film copyright,and comparison of the two methods in the evaluation of their differences and their respective advantages and disadvantages.Through analysis,it is most appropriate to evaluate the copyright value of film with the method of income present value.This paper also analyzes the influencing factors of movie box office,carries on the effective choice of parameters,and adopts multiple regression analysis to select the latest data of the film market to predict the movie box office.At the same time,the prediction model is tested,and then the copyright of the film is evaluated by the method of discounted fee allowance in the income present value method.This article also uses the market comparison method to estimate the box office income,and finds that the two methods do not have much difference in box office estimates.Since the development of the film market in China is not mature enough,many data are not disclosed to the public,so the cost replacement method and market comparison method have some difficulties in assessing the copyright value of the film works.However,this paper tries to evaluate the value of film copyright by market comparison method,because the comparable cases in the market are few,so the evaluation results are for reference only.Although the evaluation results may be somewhat deviation,but still has certain practical significance.This article will be divided into five parts to discuss the related issues of copyright valuation of Chinese films.First of all,this thesis explains the research background and meaning,and also summarizes the research methods of this paper,but also draws on the research results of scholars at home and abroad.Secondly,the author makes a brief overview of the film copyright.The third part expounds and analyzes the evaluation methods of the copyright of film works.The fourth part has established the movie box office revenue forecast model,and has carried on the analysis and the inspection to the model.The fifth part is a case study,which will evaluate the copyright value of the upcoming film "secret fruit" in July 7,2017.
