Research On Ge Hong's Qi Theory And Qi Techniques

PurposesThe contents of Gehong's works on Qi theory and Qi technique are discussed and analyzed.Supplement the deficiency of the current academic research on Gehong's Qi theory and Qi technique as a reference for Qigong cultivation and medical treatment and as a personal future extensive in-depth study of ancient Chinese medicine books entry level.MethodsBy using the methods of computer literature collection and paper literature collection,all the literature about Gehong's life,teachers and friends,writings,thoughts,health preservation,Qi theory,Qi technique and their related backgrounds were extensively collected.After detailed reading,the author adopts inductive analysis method,theoretical interpretation method,expert interview method and personal practice method to carry out the research.ResultsIn the aspect of Qi theory,Gehong has six theories about Qi,such as Ontology,Qi theory,Air-hole theory,Cultivation theory,Change theory and Life theory.In the aspect of Qi,Gehong was found to have seven methods of Qi,such as Practicing Qi exhalation,Guiding bionics,Keeping one mind,Stopping Qi,Nourishing the brain in the room,and Practicing Qi abstaining.ConclusionsThrough a comprehensive study of Gehong's theory of Qi and Qi technique,the five characteristics of his Qi theory and Qi techniques,its influence on the Taoist theory of later immortals,The theory of internal alchemy,The theory of Qigong,The theory of medical treatment and the theory of health preservation,and the last three points of personal research are summarized.Gehong's theory of Qi and Qi technique play a key role in the history of traditional Chinese medicine,which plays an important role in guiding the later Qigong practitioners,medical health practitioners and the application of doctors' medical techniques.
