ObjectiveAs the foundation and soul of TCM,traditional Chinese medicine culture(TCMC)is an important part of Chinese excellent traditional culture,which has a rich humanistic spirit and philosophical connotation.Promoting TCMC into primary and secondary schools is one of the specific measures to promote the rejuvenation of Chinese excellent traditional culture,which helps to cultivate students' sense of identity in TCM and improves students' trust,practical application ability in TCM.The measure also promotes the construction of "healthy China".Based on the understanding of the national TCMC into primary and secondary schools,the research summarizes the development ways and evaluates the implementation effect.It provides references of the policy decision and practice to promote TCMC into primary and secondary schools for the government or research units,which can contribute to further promote the TCMC into more primary and secondary schools scientifically and orderly.MethodThis research is divided into three parts:the literature review,the survey research and the discussion and suggestions.The first part called literature review consists of two elements.The first literature review:Research on the current situation of promoting TCMC into primary and secondary schools.It widely searched and collected the literature related to promote TCMC into primary and secondary schools with the method of literature analysis,which can helped understand the development and research situation of the national TCMC into primary and secondary schools.The second literature review:Research on the application of "knowledge,attitude and practice(KAP)" in health education.The theory of "KAP" is one of the evaluation models of health education and health promotion.The literature review sorts out and analyzes the related research on the application of this theory in health education,to seek a theoretical basis for scientific evaluation of the effect of promoting TCMC into primary and secondary schools.The second part called survey research consists of four parts.The first survey:Pre-investigation of promoting TCMC into primary and secondary schools.Based on the questionnaire survey method,the research conducted a preliminary investigation on the situation of the development of promoting TCMC into primary and secondary schools nationwide and provided ideas and references for later investigations.The second survey:Research on the way of promoting TCMC into primary and secondary schools.With the literature analysis method,the field inspection method,expert interview method,case analysis method and comparative analysis method,the research conducted an in-depth investigation and multi-angle analysis of the current situation of promoting TCMC into primary and secondary school,and described the typical cases and characteristics.It also analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of each development method.The third survey:Research on the effect evaluation of promoting TCMC into primary and secondary schools on students.Based on the training project of innovative talents of TCM in Shijingshan District of Beijing and the "KAP" theory,the questionnaire of student effect was designed with the methods of expert argumentation method,questionnaire survey method and statistical analysis method,which was revised after repeated demonstration by experts and preliminary investigation.The primary and secondary school students in Shijingshan District were selected for investigation and evaluation to evaluate the effect of promoting TCMC into primary and secondary schools.The fourth survey:Research on the effect evaluation of promoting TCMC into primary and secondary schools on teachers.The effect questionnaire on teachers was designed by the expert argumentation method and questionnaire survey method,the primary and secondary school teachers in Shijingshan District as investigation object.the research evaluated the effect of promoting TCMC into primary and secondary schools from the aspects of attitude and cognition to TCM,attitude and effect evaluation of promoting TCMC into primary and secondary schools.The third part called discussion and suggestions consist of two elements.Discussion:PEST analysis of promoting TCMC into primary and secondary schools.The part analyzed the factors that affect the promoting TCMC into primary and secondary schools from the political,economic,social and teaching aspects,with the PEST analysis method.Suggestions:Countermeasure and suggestion of promoting TCMC into primary and secondary schools.According to the problems of promoting TCMC into primary and secondary schools,the part put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.Result1.The primary and secondary schools carrying out TCMC into the campus are mainly concentrated in the areas with developed economy and profound TCMC.In the process of carrying out cultural education of TCM,provinces and cities widely integrated with regional culture to form distinctive campus culture.In this research,the "KAP" model was determined as the theoretical basis to evaluate the effect of promoting TCMC into primary and secondary schools.2.The ways in which TCMC enters primary and secondary schools with wide influence and distinctive characteristics are "one province,one lesson" "three categories of etiologic factors" and "Dehuizhi education+TCMC"."One province,one lesson" is to promote TCMC into primary and secondary schools in a unified way.It is groundbreaking and extensive,but it is easy to have coping education.Zhejiang Province is the demonstration area." Three categories of etiologic factors " is to promote the deep integration of TCMC and current education from multiple perspectives,with rich resources and diversified ways,but it is easy to lack a long-term mechanism.Beijing City is the demonstration area;The model schools are Shijia primary school,primary and secondary schools in Shijingshan District,The high school affiliated to Renmin university of China,The high school affiliated to Renmin university of China,Tongzhou campus and Beijing Hongzhi middle school."Dehuizhi education+TCMC"is to carry out TCMC education on the basis of traditional culture education,which is a way of school enterprise cooperation and only carried out in county-level cities and relatively small areas.The model schools are primary and secondary schools in Longxi County,Gansu Province,and Wenxing primary school in Huizhou City,Guangdong Province.By comparing project schools with non-project schools,the effect of promoting TCMC into primary and secondary schools was evaluated.The results showed that:(1)The KAP scores of students in the project schools were significantly higher than those in the non-project(P<0.01);Students' scores on TCM knowledge,attitude and practice were positively correlated(P<0.01);In terms of content of interest,the top two were knowledge of TCM and meridian points;In the form of participation,most students hoped to participate in practical activities such as producing TCM sachets,visiting TCM museums and other venues,and experiencing TCM diagnosis and treatment.(2)The willingness of teachers in the project school's attitude towards "Chinese medicine","supporting TCMC into primary and secondary schools","willing to experience and learn TCMC with students" and "willing to integrate TCMC in the courses taught" were higher than that of non-project school teachers(P<0.01)3.The PEST analysis of promoting TCMC into primary and secondary schools:Policy factors are the vane for guiding TCMC into primary and secondary schools;Economic factors are the material basis for supporting TCMC into primary and secondary schools;Social factors are powerful guarantees for supporting TCMC into primary and secondary schools;Teaching factors are the key link to ensure TCMC into primary and secondary schoolsThe introduction of TCMC into primary and secondary schools is still in the period of exploration and development,which has no unified planning and implementation mechanism There are a series of problems,for example,each does things in their own ways,the development of different regions and schools is unbalanced,teaching content is fragmented,unsystematic and nonstandard,it lacks of detailed rules for teacher training and strong team support,uneven level of teachers,and the effect evaluation system has not yet been established.In order to promote the scientific and sustainable development of TCMC in primary and secondary schools,it is suggested to strengthen the top-level design and implement the mechanism establishment;standardize the teaching content and seek for the combination of subjects;take TCM as the starting point and build a model suitable for self-development;tap the potential of teachers and improve teacher training;avoid to cram teaching and make TCM living,intelligent and fashionable;broaden learning channels with the help of various media;build communication platform and school alliance;strengthen the role of demonstration and improve the award mechanism;set up a three-way linkage education among school,family and society.ConclusionTCM has played an important role in the prevention and control of Corona Virus Disease 2019(COVID-19)epidemic in the world since the beginning of 2020.Starting from the doll,it is imperative to promote TCMC into the campus.TCMC is the representative of Chinese excellent traditional culture.At present,there are various ways to carry out TCMC into primary and secondary schools,with remarkable results.The national education department should strengthen the support of TCMC into the campus,formulate relevant policies and increase the investment of funds.All local education departments and TCM management departments should be actively linked to strengthen the training of TCMC knowledge for primary and secondary school teachers,encourage the integration of innovative courses,and let more teachers who love traditional culture join in the teacher training system.Experiential practice activities can stimulate students' interest in learning TCMC,ignite their enthusiasm for learning TCMC,and develop healthy behaviors under the guidance of TCM theory.In the cultural atmosphere of TCM,teachers can use TCM for health preservation,pay attention to physical and mental peace,and help themselves and students more,so as to realize the cultural atmosphere of believing in TCM,loving TCM and using TCM,pass on the excellent TCMC,and cultivate Chinese people with cultural confidence.At the same time,schools should also give full play to the advantages of regional resources,combine with the local characteristic culture,build a unique way of entering the campus of TCMC,and train the successor who has the feeling of homeland.
