Navel Joint Qianlieanshuan The Treatment Of Chronic Nonbacterial Prostatitis Clinical Study

Chronic abacterial prostatitis(CAP)/Chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CPPS) is one of the frequently encountered diseases in andrology clinical service. About 50% of male adults may have been bothered by CP in their life. CP is one of the most frequent causes in male patients under age of 50. The TCM(traditional chinese medicine) theropy method is efficient in eliminating patients'syndrome and maintaining drug effect. Furthermore, chinese medicine has little toxic and side-effect,thus patients are prone to accept.After referring to the literature about TCM external treatment of CPPS, we discover spreading chinese medicine on umbilicus and putting into anus with chinese medcine easy to operate and effective.Objective:To investigate the curative effect and security of DingGui San combined with Qianlie Anshuan for CPPS.Methods:The observation is carried out strictly according to the Guideline Principle of Clinical Research on New Drug of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the requirement of clinical epidemiology.120 cases of CPPS patients are divided into 3 groups. Group A was given DingGui San, pasted on the umbilicus, and Qianlie Anshuan, which was put into the anus. Group B was given DingGui San combined with suppository placebo treatment, while group C was given Qianlie Anshuan and powder placebo.Each group has 40 patients. The changing rate of NIH-CPSI score and TCM symptom score is used to evaluate the curative effect.Results:After 4 weeks'treatment,the NIH-CPSI score of all patients after the treatment was significantly different from the patients before treatment(P<0.01). Effective ratio of group A is 85.0%, group B is 65.0%,and group C is 60.0%. Analysis shows there are significant differences between groups A and B, B and C.Group A is more advanced than B and C in curative effect. The afore-mentioned differences have statistical sense (P<0.05)Conclusion:The curative effect of group A for CPPS is superior to group B and C obviously. Since the efficiency increases, compliance also increases.We can consider DingGui San pasted on the umbilicus with Qianlie Anshuan put into the anus is a safe and efficient method to decrease the severity of patients'syndrome and improve their life quality.
