Study On The Prescription Of Banxia Xiexin Decoction

Objective:Banxiaxiexin decoction was first introduced in Treatise on Febrile Diseases,This side cold and hot with,rise and fall phase because of,false and true with tune,treatment vomiting and bowel,heart under ruffianren.Clinical application is very extensive.In this paper,literature research and modern statistical and data mining methods are adopted to conduct in-depth discussion and analysis on the prescription of Banxiaxiexin decoction,so as to clarify the prescription of theory and method,elaborate the key points of syndrome differentiation,and explore the evolution of ancient and modern clinical laws.Method:This paper is composed by following sections:1.Literature review.Aiming at researching and concluding the modern clinical studies of Banxiaxiexin decoction,and a comprehensive conclusion of modern clinical pharmacology.The goal is to thoroughly understand the literatures and results on Banxiaxiexin decoction conducted by ancient doctors.2.Research theory.(1)Study the evolution of Banxiaxiexin decoction through history by tracing back to its original article mentions before North Song Dynasty;(2)Analyze and summarize relevant articles on Banxiaxiexin decoction within Treatise on Febrile Diseases written by Zhong Jing;(3)Further analyze the theory,method,and prescription of Banxiaxiexin decoction by implementing horizontal and vertical comparisons on annotations from ancient doctors;(4)Explore,understand,and summarize the foundation of the decoction method of Banxiaxiexin decoction and its practical use;(5)Conclude the decoction method of Treatise on Febrile and Miscellaneous Diseases and the rules of combining cold and heat,summarize the examples of ancient doctors using Banxia Xiexin Decoction,and extract the changing rules of the treated cases.3.Summarize and screen the clinical records in modern era.By using modern statistics,integrate the medical records.Collect relevant data from medical cases relating to Banxiaxiexin decoction between 1950 to March 2020 from CNKI,WAN FANG,and VIP.By using SPSS22.0,build database with the EXCEL document containing qualified medical cases under preset conditions.4.The clinical randomized controlled trial of Banxiaxiexin Decoction in the treatment of chronic superficial gastritis was carried out and systematically evaluated.The retrieval database includes:CNKI,VIP and WAN FANG The range include all studies meet the requirements until June 2019,followed with Meta-Analysis by using Cochrane bias risk assessment and Revman 5.3.Result:(1)In the clinical process,Banxiaxiexin Decoction plays an indispensable role in both spleen and stomach diseases and facial features diseases.The modern pharmacology studies showed that Banxiaxiexin decoction can regulate gastrointestinal motility,inhibit HP activity,protect gastric mucosa,improve immunity,improve oxygen tolerance and regulate central transmitters;(2)Through theory study,the basic pathology of Banxia Xiexin Decoction is the mixture of cold and heat;the main pathogenesis is up and down loss of division,mixed with syndrome of virtual and solid;the key point of syndrome differentiation is epigastric fullness sensation;(3)Within the 581 medical cases,the common diseases of traditional Chinese medicine include distemper syndrome,diarrhea,stomachache,chronic gastritis,functional dyspepsia,and oral ulcer.The indications of application are:stomach distemper,poor appetite,loose stools,red tongue,white fur,and smooth pulse.The common flavoring drugs are Atractylodes macrocephala,Poria cocos,Fructus aurantii,and tangerine peel;(4)After the screening,19 RCT literatures were recorded and 1757 patients were enrolled for meta-analysis.The result shows that compare to pure western medicine treatment,Banxiaxiexin decoction(plus/minus other prescriptions)significantly increases the efficiency of clinical treatment(OR=4.56,95%CI[3.22,6.48]Z=9.73,P<0.00001)and cure rate(OR=1.99,95%CI[1.53,2.58]Z=5.82,P<0.00001);also decrease in syndrome integral(SMD=2.81,95%CI[2.44,3.19]Z=6.32,P<0.00001).Banxiaxiexin Decoction has a significant effect on the treatment of superficial gastritis.Conclusion:Through literature review,theoretical research,modern medical case statistics and evidence-based medicine science,the horizontal and vertical understanding of the theory,method,prescription,syndrome differentiation and treatment of Banxiaxiexin Decoction can apply;analyze and summarize the similarities and differences between ancient and modern application to better serve the clinical practice.
