Part ? Ultrasound diagnosis of parathyroid cystObjective It aims at investigating the characteristics of ultrasound imaging of parathyroid cysts, and improving the diagnosis of parathyroid cysts.Participants 41 patients with parathyroid cysts found in the Department of Ultrasound Diagnosis,Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, from 2010.2to 2018.7 are selected. Methods Ultrasound imaging results of two-dimensional,color Doppler and three-dimensional volume reconstruction were recorded in detail. All patients were examined for serum PTH,serum calcium, serum phosphorus, and fine needle aspiration under ultrasound guidance.Observe the physical properties of the cyst fluid and PTH detection was performed in the cyst fluid. Results In the 41 patients,4 had asthma and dyspnea,3 had dysphagia,2 had hoarseness,2 had foreign body sensitization, and the rest had no discomfort.Serum PTH,serum calcium and blood phosphorus are within the normal range of all patients. All cysts are located in the lower thyroid region. When the patients swallowed, all cysts were out of sync with the ipsilateral thyroid. When the probe was pressurized, the cyst was separated from the thyroid;the cyst boundary was clear and smooth, the cyst fluid was transparent, and no abnormal echo was observed inside;CDFI showed no obvious blood flow signal inside the cyst;CEUS showed no contrast agent filling in the cyst, but The wall of the capsule appears to be enhanced. Conclusion Parathyroid cysts have similar sonographic features to simple cysts of other organs(liver, kidney, etc.)but they are not specific.Puncture and aspiration of cysts and quantitative analysis of cystic fluid PTH are reliable methods for diagnosis.Part ? The rapeutic effect of ultrasound-guided absolute ethanol sclerotherapy for parathyroid cystObjective It aims at investigating the clinical effect of ultrasound-guided anhydrous absolute ethanol sclerotherapy for non-functional parathyroid cysts.Participants 41 patients with non-functional parathyroid cysts found in the Department of Ultrasound Diagnosis,Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, from 2010.2to 2018.7 are selected. Methods The clinical data of 41 patients with non-functional parathyroid cysts were retrospectively analyzed and treated with ultrasound-guided absolute ethanol sclerotherapy. The serum levels of calcium, phosphorus, parathyroid hormone and alkaline phosphatase(ALP)were recorded before and after treatment. The clinical symptoms, complications and recurrence were observed. Results 1 week,3 months, and 6 months after surgery, the serum calcium, phosphorus, parathyroid hormone and ALP levels were lower than those before surgery(P<0.05),but the indicators were in the normal range.3 months and 6 months after surgery, the incidence of clinical symptoms was lower than that before surgery(P<0.05).After 6 months of follow-up,2 cases(4.88%)of postoperative complications occurred, which were improved after symptomatic treatment, and no patients relapsed. Conclusion Ultrasound-guided absolute ethanol sclerotherapy for the treatment of non-functional parathyroid cysts is reliable, with itslow incidence of complications.Besides,It has little effect on serum calcium phosphate, parathyroid hormone and ALP.
