| Objective:To observe and compare the difference of clinical curative effect between acupotomolysis and conventional acupuncture in the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy, and to evaluate the clinical curative effect of acupotomolysis under the guidance of myofascial chain and trigger point theory,so as to provide new ideas for the clinical treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathyMethods:70 subjects who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into treatment group and control group. Each group has 35 cases. In the treatment group, the trigger point on the myofascial chain is released by Acupotomology, once every 4 days, once for a course of treatment,a total of 3 courses. The control group was treated with routine acupuncture once a day,5 times a course,a total of 2 courses. The improvement rate, visual analog scale(VAS)and neck disability index(NDI)scores of the two groups before and after treatment were observed and comparedResult:1.Overall efficacy comparison:the total effective rate of the treatment group and the control group after the course of treatment:the total effective rate of the treatment group is 91.91%;the total effective rate of the control group is 85.29%.There was no significant difference in the total effective rate between the two groups(2=0.507,P=0.709).The more obvious rate of the two groups:69.70%in the treatment group and 41.18%in the control group. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(2=5.509,P=0.027).The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05)2.NAS score:in the treatment group and the control group, the score was 6.23±1.31 before treatment and 2.03±1.47 after treatment;in the control group, the score was 6.34±1.32 before treatment and 3.06±1.32 after treatment. The difference of VAS score between the two groups before and after treatment was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the difference of VAS score between the two groups was statistically significant(t=-3.013,P=0.004).The VAS score of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group.(3)NDI score:comparison between the treatment group and the control group:the pre-treatment index of the treatment group was 30.69±4.91,and the post-treatment index was 11.82±4.31 The index of the control group was 32.37±5.87 before treatment and 16.68±6.12 after treatment. The difference of NDI between the two groups before and after treatment was statistically significant(P<0.05).The difference of NDI between the two groups was statistically significant(t=-3.745,P<0.001).The NDI of the treatment group was lower than that of the control groupConclusion:1.Under the guidance of the theory of myofascial chain and trigger point, acupotomy and conventional acupuncture are effective in the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy But under the guidance of the theory of myofascial chain and trigger point, the curative effect of acupotomy is better than that of conventional acupuncture, which shows that under the guidance of the theory of myofascial chain and trigger point,Acupotomy can alleviate the clinical symptoms of patients more significantly2.Under the guidance of myofascial chain and trigger point theory, acupotomy and routine acupuncture can improve the patients’ pain. However, under the guidance of myofascial chain and trigger point theory,Acupotomy can relieve the patients’ pain more significantly than conventional acupuncture3.Under the guidance of myofascial chain and trigger point theory, acupotomy and routine acupuncture can improve the cervical function and quality of life of patients with radicular cervical spondylosis. But under the guidance of myofascial chain and trigger point theory,Acupotomy can significantly improve the neck function and quality of life of patients compared with conventional acupuncture4.Under the guidance of myofascial chain and trigger point theory,Acupotomy is a safe and effective method for the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy, which is worthy of further clinical research and promotion. |
