Meta Analysis Of Shaoyao Decoction Combined With Western Medicine In The Treatment Of Ulcerative Colitis

Objective:Using meta analysis,evaluating the clinical effect of shaoyaotang combined with western medicine in the treatment of ulcerative colitis,and analyzing the currentreatment effect,so as to provide the exact evidence-based medical evidence for the futurclinical treatment of ulcerative colitis?Materials and methods:By searching the databases of CNKI,Wanfang Data knowledge service platform,VIP,China biomedical literature database(CBM)etc.from January 1,1990 to January 1,2020,we collected all the randomized controlled trials(RCTs)about the treatment of ulcerative colitis with shaoyao Decoction and Western medicine,which were conducted by two evaluators according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria Screening,data extraction and quality evaluation.The quality of the study was classified as high,unclear or low risk of bias.According to the standard literature,Revman 5.3 statistical software was used to meta analyze the extracted data,getting the resu lts and discussing?Results:By reading the full text to eliminate the literature of repeated and animal experiments etc,8 articles were included for meta analysis,a total of 628 patients.Using fixed effect model for meta analysis,the total effective rate [OR = 3.52,95% CI(2.12,5.86),P < 0.01],significant efficiency [OR = 1.93,95% CI(1.39,2.70),P< 0.01]of shaoyao decoction combined with western medicine group in the treatment of ulcerative coliti s were better than those of the control groups,and the effective rate was similar to t hat of the control group [OR = 0.83,95% CI(0.59,1.17),P = 0.28],while the ineffective rate was lower than that of the control group[OR=0.28,95%CI(0.17,0.47),P <0.01]?Conclusion: The curative effect of Shaoyao decoction combined with western medicine is better than that of western medicine alone?...
