Purpose: In the present study,Professor Wang Chuijie's medication rules for curing diarrhea was analyzed and excavated by means of "Chinese Medicine Inheritance Auxiliary System" and SPSS22.0,so as to provide reference for clinical prescription medication in the future.Data and methods: Through collecting and screening the diarrhea-related medical case prescriptions diagnosed and treated by tutor Professor Wang Chuijie during his visit to the National Medical Hall of the Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicin from March 2017 to July 2019,the 140 medical case TCM syndrome types and prescription drugs conforming to the included scope were successively entered into the TCM inheritance auxiliary system.Through frequency statistical analysis,association rule apriori algorithm and complex system entropy clustering statistical method,the frequency of TCM syndrome types,the frequency of flavor and meridian tropism of prescription drugs,the frequency of single drugs,the combination of core drugs and the association rules between drugs adopted by the tutor for curing diarrhea were determined.Results:1.Statistical results of prescription syndrome types: 140 diarrhea medical cases were collected,and the syndrome types were classified into 7 types.According to the frequency from high to low,they were spleen and stomach weakness syndrome,liver and spleen disharmony syndrome,spleen and stomach weakness and coldness syndrome,spleen and stomach muggy syndrome,spleen and kidney Yang deficiency syndrome,Qi and Yin deficiency syndrome,and mixed coldness and heat syndrome.2.Statistical results of flavor and meridian tropism of drugs:124 prescription drug and 2124 times were recorded.The order of occurrence frequency from high to low: among the four natures of drugs,there were 922 times of warm nature,648 times of mild nature,399 times of cold nature,76 times of hot nature and 56 times of cool nature;The five flavors were 1068 times of sweetness,921 times of bitterness,801 times of pungent flavor,332 times of sour,197 times of astringent flavor and 23 times of salty;The main meridians were 1613 times of spleenmeridian,1045 times of stomach meridian,880 times of lung meridian,609 times of heart meridian,576 times of kidney meridian and 517 times of liver meridian.3.Statistical results of frequency of single drug: 50 drugs with frequency larger than or equal to10 times,with a total frequency of 1876 times,accounting for 88.32%.The top 15 drugs with more frequency were Glycyrrhiza uralensis,Atractylodes macrocephala,Pericarpium citri tangerinae,Poria cocos,Codonopsis pilosula,Radix Paeoniae Alba,Radix Aucklandiae,Rhizoma Atractylodis,Schisandra chinensis,Amomum villosum,Coptis chinensis,Coix seed,Magnolia officinalis,Astragalus membranaceus,dried ginger,respectively.4.Statistic results of common doses of the 5 first-choice drugs: 10g-15 g Glycyrrhiza uralensis,10g-15g-20 g Atractylodes macrocephala,12g-15 g Pericarpium citri tangerinae,15g-20 g Poria cocos,10g-15g-20 g Codonopsis pilosula.5.Statistical results of drug efficacy classification: Drug efficacy categories were divided into11 categories,mainly including 25 flavors(602 times)of deficiency-tonification,13 flavors(427 times)of dampness-elimination,diuresis-promotion and dampness-permeation,13 flavors(266 times)of astringency-removal,9 flavors(248 times)of Qi-regulation,23 flavors(184 times)of heat-cleaning,5 flavors(92 times)of digestion-promotion,5 flavors(89 times)of interiorwarming and 5 flavors(84 times)of exterior syndrome-relief.6.Frequency of drug combination and statistical results of association rules between drugs(support degree is 55,confidence coefficient is 0.95): 32 groups of core drug pairs were obtained,of which there were 36,19 and 5 groups of 3,4 and 5 drug combinations,respectively.7.Through entropy clustering statistical analysis of complex systems(setting correlation coefficient to 5 and penalty coefficient to 2),22 candidate drug combinations were obtained.Conclusion:1.The tutor believed that the basic pathogenesis of diarrhea is weakness of spleen and stomach and lack of water and dampness,which is related to dysfunction of viscera such as liver,kidney and large intestine,and is often accompanied by dampness,heat and stagnation.The treatment was based on the basic principles of invigorating Qi and spleen,regulating Qi and eliminating dampness,attaching importance to regulating the Qi activity of spleen and stomach to transport dampness,giving consideration to viscera such as liver,kidney and large intestine,andcooperating with the treatment methods of soothing liver and regulating Qi,warming kidney and spleen,warm-neutralizing and dispelling coldness,clearing dampness and heat,consolidating intestine and relieving diarrhea.2.The diarrhea treated by the tutor was mainly characterized by weakness of spleen and stomach,disharmony between liver and spleen,deficiency and coldness of spleen and stomach,damp-heat of spleen and stomach,Yang-deficiency of spleen and kidney,deficiency of both Qi and Yin,and mixed coldness and heat.3.The drugs with four Qi used by the tutor to treat diarrhea were mainly warm and flat,the five flavors were mainly sweetness,bitterness and pungency,and the meridian tropism was mainly entering the spleen and stomach meridians.The drug efficacy was mainly classified as deficiency-tonifying drugs,dampness-eliminating drugs,diuresis-promoting and dampness-permeating drugs,and Qi-regulating drugs,which embodied the therapeutic principle of "invigorating Qi and invigorating spleen,regulating Qi and dampness".4.The core drugs for the tutor to treat diarrhea included: Glycyrrhiza uralensis,Atractylodes macrocephala,Pericarpium citri tangerinae,Poria cocos,Codonopsis pilosula,Radix Paeoniae Alba,Radix Aucklandiae,Rhizoma Atractylodis,followed by Schisandra chinensis,Amomum villosum,Coptis chinensis,etc.The core drug pair combinations included: Atractylodes macrocephala-Glycyrrhiza uralensis,Pericarpium citri reticulatae-Glycyrrhiza uralensis,Glycyrrhiza uralensis-Poria cocos,Pericarpium citri reticulatae-Glycyrrhiza uralensis,Pericarpium citri reticulatae-Atractylodes macrocephala,Atractylodes macrocephala-Poria cocos,Codonopsis pilosula-Glycyrrhiza uralensis,Codonopsis pilosula-Atractylodes macrocephala,Pericarpium citri reticulatae-Poria cocos,Glycyrrhiza uralensis-Radix Paeoniae Alba,Codonopsis pilosula-Radix Paeoniae Alba.5.Through the summary and statistical analysis of visits with teachers at ordinary times,the commonly used compatible drugs for tutors to treat diarrhea were obtained: deficiency of spleen and stomach: compatible with Astragalus membranaceus,coix seed,lotus seed,gordon euryale seed,Terminalia chebula,Dioscorea oppositifolia,Lablab purpureus,endothelium corneum gigeriae galli,charred triplet,etc.Disharmony of liver and spleen: compatible with Radix Paeoniae Alba,Radix Bupleuri,Fructus citri,Radix Saposhnikoviae,Rhizoma Cyperi,pericarpium citri reticulatae,Radix Aucklandiae,Spleen and stomach weakness-cold syndrome:compatibility with Astragalus membranaceus,Aconitum carmichaelii,dried ginger,Rhizoma galangae,Cimicifugae foetidae,Fructus foeniculi,Schisandra chinensis,Rosa laevigata,dark plum,etc.,spleen and stomach damp-heat syndrome: compatibility with Rhizoma coptidis,Scutellaria baicalensis,Phellodendron amurense,Agastache rugosus,Amomum villosum,Taraxacum mongolicum,Forsythia suspensa,etc.,spleen and kidney Yang deficiency syndrome:compatibility with Aconitum carmichaelii,Cinnamomum cassia,bitter cardamon,Cuscuta chinensis,Myristica fragrans,Eucommia ulmoides,Epimedium brevicornu,Fructus psoraleae,Schisandra chinensis,Rosa laevigata,dark plum,etc.
