Wenxin Decoction For The Treatment Of Chronic Heart Failure With Yang-deficiency And Water-stop Syndrome And Its Effect On The Levels Of TNF-α And IL-6

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Wenxin Decoction in the Treatment of Chronic heart failure(yang-deficiency and water-stop)and its effect on the level of inflammatory factors.Methods : A total of 60 patients with chronic heart failure(yang-deficiency water-stop type)who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into control group and treatment group,with 30 patients in each group.Both groups were treated with conventional medicine treatment.The treatment group was taken orally with Wenxin Decoction on the basis of the control group.Both groups were treated for 4weeks.Clinical efficacy,TCM syndrome score and efficacy,quality of life score,cardiac function grade,LVEF and E/A,NT-pro BNP,TNF-α and Il-6 level were observed before and after treatment.Result:1.Judgment of efficacy: The total effective rate of the treatment group was90.00%,and the total effective rate of the control group was70.00%.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.TCM syndrome scores and The efficacy of TCM syndrome: There was no significant difference in TCM syndrome scores between the two groups before treatment.The TCM syndrome scores of both groups were significantly lower than before treatment(P<0.05),and the decrease was more obvious in the treatment group compared with the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of TCM syndrome in the treatment group was 93.33%,which was 70.00% in the control group.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Quality of life score: There was no statistically significant difference in quality of life score between the two groups before treatment.After treatment,the scores of quality of life in both groups decreased significantly(P<0.05),and the decrease was more significant in the treatment group compared with the control group(P<0.05).4.LVEF and E/A: There was no statistically significant difference in LVEF and E/A between the two groups before treatment.After treatment,LVEF and E/A was significantly increased in both groups after treatment(P<0.05),and the increase wasmore significant in the treatment group compared with the control group(P<0.05).5.NT-pro BNP: There was no significant difference in NT-pro BNP between the two groups before treatment.After treatment,NT-pro BNP was significantly reduced in both groups(P<0.05),and the decrease was more obvious in the treatment group compared with the control group(P<0.05).6.TNF-αand IL-6: There was no statistically significant difference in TNF-αand IL-6 between the two groups before treatment.TNF-αand IL-6 was significantly reduced in both groups after treatment(P<0.05),and the decrease was more significant in the treatment group compared with the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Wenxin decoction can improve the level of cardiac function in patients with chronic heart failure,reduce the TCM syndrome scores,improve patients’ LVEF and E/A,reduce the level of patients’ NT-pro BNP,TNF-α,IL-6,the overall clinical effect is significantly better than the use of conventional western medicine treatment alone.
