Clinical Observation Of Danggui Niantong Decoction In The Treatment Of Lumbar Intervertebral Disc Herniation (damp-heat Arthralgia Syndrome)

Objective:Through clinical randomized controlled trials,observe the clinical curative effect of Danggui Niantong Decoction in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation(damp-heat syndrome).Methods:In the first spinal clinic of The First Hospital of Hunan University of Chinese Medical Sciences from March 2019 to October 2019,64 cases diagnosed lumbar disc herniation(damp-heat syndrome)were picked out and divided into two groups in accordance with the table of random number.There are 32 cases in each group.The test group were treated with Danggui Niantong Decoction,and the control group adopted the Simiao San Decoction.The treatment period was 2 weeks.The Visual Analogue Scale(VAS score),Oswestry disability index(ODI score)and TCM syndrome score were observed to evaluate the curative effect before and after treatment.Results: There were no statistical differences(P > 0.05)between the test group and the control group in gender,age,disease duration and VAS score,ODI score,and TCM syndrome score before treatment.2 the comparison between the pre-treatment and post-treatment in two groups of Compared with the pre-treatment,two groups were statistically significant(P=0.000 < 0.05)in VAS score,ODI score,and TCM syndrome scores after 1 week,2 weeks of treatment and follow-up.After the treatment,the VAS score,ODI score,After 1 weeks,2 weeks of treatment,VAS score in the test group did not decrease more obviously than the control group,which has no significant difference(P=0.065 > 0.05,P=0.193 > 0.05);at the 4 weeks,8 weeks of follow-up,VAS score decreased significantly,with significant difference(P=0.026 < 0.05,P=0.041 < 0.05).After 2 weeks of treatment and the 4 weeks,8 weeks of follow-up between the two groups,ODI score of the test group was lower than the control group,with significant difference(P < 0.05),except 1 weeks after the treatment(P=0.830 > 0.05).After the treatment,the falling of TCM syndrome score in the test group is not obvious After 2 weeks of treatment,the markedly effective rate and total effective rate of the test group and control group were 70.968%,87.097% and 46.875%,94.375%,with significant difference(P=0.036< 0.05);at the 8 weeks follow-up after treatment,the markedly effective rate and total effective rate were 61.209%,80.645% andDuring the treatment,there were no adverse reactions in the test group and theConclusion:Danggui Niantong Decoction has a good short-term clinical efficacy in the treatment of LDH(damp-heat syndrome),which is better than the clinical efficacy of the Simiao San Decoction.Danggui Niantong Decoction is safe in short-term application in the treatment of LDH(damp-heat syndrome).
