| Objective: To study syndrome types,distribution of syndrome elements,and medication rules for ankylosing spondylitis based on the analysis of recent literatures in Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM),to explain the pathogenesis of TCM,and to provide a reference for clinical differentiation of TCM in treating ankylosing spondylitis.Methods: Retrieval of clinical data on the treatment of ankylosing spondylitis by traditional Chinese medicine or integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine based on the Chinese Knowledge Network Database(CNKI),Wanfang Database(VIP),Chongqing Chinese Journal Database and Chinese Biomedical Literature Data(CBM).The retrieval time is from the establishment of the database to January 1,2019.The number of cases,sex,syndrome type,four diagnosis information,prescriptions and specific doses were extracted from the literature included in the study,and a database was established for statistics analysis on syndrome types,four diagnosis information,prescriptions,and drug distribution respectively.Information and traditional Chinese medicine were clustered using SPSS 21.0 statistical software.Results: A total of 36 ankylosing spondylitis syndromes were obtained,of which the kidney deficiency,the cold syndrome,the damp heat syndrome,the cold dampness syndrome,the liver and kidney deficiency syndrome,and the blood stasis syndrome were the main syndrome types.The most popular locations of the disease were kidney and main and collateral channels.The common pathogenic syndromes were dampness,blood stasis,heat,and cold,followed by yang deficiency,yin deficiency,and qi deficiency.The least pathogenic syndromes were blood deficiency,phlegm,wind,and qi stagnation.The major combination syndrome type was the combination of two syndromes and/or three syndromes.A total of 131 prescriptions and 157 Chinese medicines were used.The 54 Chinese medicines with higher frequency were clustered into 4 categories,which were suitable for treatment of liver and kidney deficiencies,dampness-heat resistance,kidney-yang deficiency,cold and damp stagnation and deficiency heat.Conclusion: In patients with ankylosing spondylitis,the kidney deficiency,cold and dampness,and heat were the most common syndromes,followed by the coldness and dampness,liver and kidney deficiency,and blood stasis.The deficiency of kidney was the most important pathogenesis factor of AS.The invasion of Hansanxie is the main cause of AS’s external incidence.The treatment of AS in traditional Chinese medicine focused on the improvement of the functions of the liver and kidney,strengthening muscles and bones,removing wind and dampness,tonifying and pain relief,clearing away heat and activating blood circulation to remove blood stasis. |
