Clinical Observation Of Xitong Patch Combined With Flunarizine In The Treatment Of Migraine (blood Stagnation Syndrome)

Objective: To research the clinical efficacy and safety of the Xitong patch combined with flunarizine capsules in the treatment of migraine(blood stasis syndrome).Methods: From May 2019 to December 2019,64 patients who met the inclusion criteria of this study were randomly assigned to treatment among the patients who were treated in the Department of Neurology at Changde Hospital Affiliated to Hunan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine(Changde No.1 Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital),and there were 32 cases in each group and control group.The treatment group was treated with Xitong patch combined with flunarizine capsules,and the control group was treated with flunarizine capsules.The two groups were treated before and after 7 and 14 days.VAS score,clinical symptom score,TCM syndrome score,clinical efficacy improvement and safety,adverse reactions were evaluated,and the results were statistically analyzed and processed.Results: In terms of VAS scores,clinical symptom scores,and TCM syndrome scores,within the group comparison,the cases of the two groups improved after 7days and 14 days after treatment(P<0.05);there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups 7 days after treatment(P>0.05),but the treatment group was better than the control group after 14 days of treatment(P<0.05).In the 14 days after treatment,the total effective rate of the VAS score was90.0% and 65.5% in the treatment group and the control group,respectively,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In the evaluation of clinical symptoms after 14 days of treatment,the total effective rates of the treatment group and the control group were 93.3% and 82.8%,respectively,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).In the evaluation of the efficacy of TCM syndromes after 14 days of treatment,the total effective rates of the treatment group and the control group were 100% and 75.9%,respectively,the difference wasstatistically significant(P<0.05).The safety of the two groups of patients during treatment was good,and no significant adverse reactions were seen.Conclusion: For patients with migraine(blood stasis syndrome),the topical patch combined with flunarizine capsule can effectively improve VAS score,headache degree,duration of pain,number of pain episodes,clinical symptom score,TCM syndrome score.And no systemic and local adverse reactions are seen,indicating the Xitong patch combined with flunarizine capsules has a definite effect on the treatment of migraine(blood stasis syndrome),which is worthy of clinical promotion.
