| Objective: Preliminary evaluation the clinical effect and saftety of Buzhong Yiqi Decoction and Gegen Qinlian Decoction retention enema in the prevention and treatment of radiation enteritisMethods: according to the principle of random control,62 patients with rectal cancer were divided into two groups.31 in the treatment group and 31 in the control group.The treatment group was given radiotherapy + retention enema with Chinese medicine.The control group received radiotherapy.The course of treatment was 1month,followed up for 2 months.The incidence,severity,occurrence time,quality of life and safety index of radiation enteritis were observed and compared before and after treatment.Results:(1)the curative effect evaluation(1)incidence of radiation enteritis,13 cases of radiation enteritis in treatment group,41.94% incidence,23 cases in control group,the incidence rate was 74.19%,the incidence of treatment group was lower than that of control group,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).(2)There were 10 cases of degree I,3 cases of degree II and 0 cases of degree III in the treatment group;13 cases of degree I,8 cases of degree II and 2 cases of degree III in the control group;the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P < 0.05).(3)The average time of radiation enteritis was 25.00 ± 3.63 day in the treatment group and15.70 ± 2.85 day in the control group.The average time of radiation enteritis in the treatment group was significantly longer than that in the control group(P < 0.05).(4)There were 19 cases with 0-2 score in the treatment group(61.29%),12 cases with 3-5score(38.71%),8 cases with 0-2 score in the control group(25.81%),23 cases with 3-5score(74.19%).The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P< 0.05).(5)After the treatment,the KPS score of the treatment group was better than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).(2)Safety evaluation: during the study,it was found that adverse reactions were mainly skin injury,frequency of urination,anemia,thrombocytopenia and renal function damage,among which the incidence of adverse reactions in the treatment group was 45.16% and that in the control group was 54.84%.The incidence of adverse reactions in the treatment group was slightly lower than that in the control group,andthere was no significant difference between the two groups.Conclusion: Buzhong Yiqi Decoction and Gegen Qinlian Decoction retention enema can effectively reduce the incidence of radiation enteritis,reduce the severity,and prolong the time of radiation enteritis,and there is no obvious adverse reactions,and the safety is good.The research shows that Buzhong Yiqi Decoction and Gegen Qinlian Decoction retention enema have a certain effect in preventing radiation enteritis. |
