Clinical Observation Of Dingxuan Decoction In The Treatment Of Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo With Phlegm Obstruction Syndrome

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Dingxuan Decoction in treating the obstruct ion syndrome of phlegm turbidity in benign paroxysmal positional vertigo.To observe the clinical efficacy and adverse reactions of Dingxuan Decoction,and objectively evaluate the clinical efficacy and drug safety of Dingxuan Decoction on the obstruction syndrome in phlegm turbidity of BPPV,so as to lay a certain clinical foundation for further research and clinical application of Dingxuan Decoction.Methods:60 patients who met the diagnostic criteria of OBSTRUCTION in sputum turbidity of BPPV from February 2019 to March 2020 were selected from the department of Neurology,The First Affiliated Hospital of Hunan University of Chinese Medicine.60 patients with BPPV were randomly divided into 2 groups and 30 patients in the treatment group were given Dingxuan decoction orally.In the control group,30 patients were given betastat in mesylate orally.Respectively before and after treatment of two groups of patients with BPPV 7 d DHI grade,body score(P),function(F),the change of mood score(E)evaluate and TCM syndrome scale to evaluate the change of the before and after treatment,and at the age of 30 days of follow-up record after 7 d(8 days to 30 days)during the onset of vertigo.Results:(1)body score(P),functional score(F),mood score(E)and DHI overall rating were compared between groups after treatment,and there were differences between groups and groups(P<0.01),and the therapeutic effect was more significant in the treatment group.(2)The clinical efficacy of TCM syndrome scale was statistically significant between the two groups,and the treatment group was superior to the control group(P<0.01).(3)there was no statistical significance in the frequency of vertigo between the treatment group and the control group during the follow-up of the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Dingxiang Decoction can significantly improve THE DHI score and TCM syndrome score of patients with obstruction in phlegm turbidity of BPPV,and no adverse reactions occurred during treatment.It can reduce the frequency of vertigo recurrence in patients,and the treatment is safe and reliable with little side effects.Therefore,it is suitable for further clinical promotion and application,and provides a new idea for clinical treatment of BPPV.
