Objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy of canalith repositioning procedure of Posterior Semicircular benign paroxysmal positional vertigo.Methods:165 PC-BPPV patients diagnosed and treated from January 2011 to June 2014 were selected in the neurology of Feng chen Hospital of shanghai. They were randomly divided into three groups:55 with Epley maneuver; 55 with Semont maneuver; 55 with Brandt-Daroff maneuver. And we observed the efficacy and the recurrence.Results:(1)The efficacy after first CRP was like this: Epley group 74.5%,Semont group 89.1%,Brandt—Daroff group 56.4%,It had apparent statistical deviation(P<0.05); Semont group was higher than Epley group and Brandt—Daroff group(P<0.05); Epley group was higher than Brandt—Daroff group(P<0.05)(2) The effective power seven days later: Epley group 92.7%,Semont group 94.5%,Brandt—Daroff group 90.9%,three groups had no apparent statistical deviation(P〉0.05).(3)The recurrence was like this: Epley group 25.1%,Semont group 32.7%,Brandt—Daroff group 10.9%, Brandt—Daroff group was lower than Epley group and Semont group,It had apparent statistical deviation(P<0.05);The Epley and Semont group had no apparent statistical deviation(P〉0.05)Conclusion:(1)The Semont method had the best efficacy for PC-BPPV after first CRP;(2)The Epley, Semont and Brandt-Daroff had the same efficacy for PC-BPPV in the first week.(3)The Brandt-daroff method is the most conducive to control the disease recurrence...
