A Clinical Study On The Acupoint Application Of Autumnal Equinox Invigorating The Spleen To Treat Children With Constipation Due To Spleen Deficiency

Purpose To observe the curative effect and long-term recurrence rate of Autumn Equinox Acupoint Application on children Constipation with spleen deficiency and accumulation and to compare to the lactulose oral liquid group so that to evaluate advantages and clinical application value in improving constipation and spleen deficiency related syndromes.Material and Methods:60 children with Constipation with spleen deficiency and accumulation who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into treatment group and control group(30 cases in each group).Under the premise that basic constipation treatment were provided to,the treatment group was treated with Autumn Equinox Acupoint Application,while the control group was treated with oral lactulose solution only.Both groups were treated as a course of 15 days,and the symptoms and signs of the two groups were recorded in detail before treatment and follow-up for 3 months after treatment to evaluate the clinical efficacy and recurrence rate of the two groups.All data were analyzed by SPSS 20.0 statistical software.Result:1.Clinical effective rate:The total effective rate of the treatment group was 96.67%,and that of the control group was 83.33%.The total effective rate of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).2.The treatment group was superior to the control group in improving the frequency of defecation,fecal characteristics,dry mouth,halitosis,fatigue,appetite and belching(all P<0.05).3.After 3 months of follow-up telephone visit,the recurrence rate of constipation of the treatment group was 17.24%,while the rate of the control group was 46.43%which showd that the recurrence rate of the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Autumn equinox acupoint application was effective in treating children Constipation with spleen deficiency and accumulation without obvious side effects.2.Autumn equinox acupoint application was superior to the control group in improving the spleen deficiency syndrome.3.According to long-term follow-up telephone visit,the recurrence rate of constipation of the treatment group was low.Thus,Autumn equinox acupoint application was worth promoting.
