A Clinical Study Of Puncturing And Cupping Combined With Surrounding Acupuncture In The Treatment Of Herpes Zoster In The Acute Stage

Purpose:In a randomized controlled clinical trial,To compare the clinical efficacy of acupuncture and cupping combined with periacupuncture and conventional drugs in the treatment of acute herpes zoster.It provides an effective clinical basis for the treatment of acute herpes zoster by acupuncture and cupping combined with peritoneal acupuncture.Material and method:This study adopts the research method of randomized controlled trial.From October 2017 to June 2018,66 patients with acute herpes zoster hospitalized in the department of acupuncture and dermatology of the first affiliated hospital of liaoning university of traditional Chinese medicine were collected.66 subjects were randomly divided into 2 groups,33 in the control group and 33 in the treatment group.The control group was treated with varaciclovir hydrochloride tablets 0.3g/time twice per oral day and mecobalamin tablets 0.5mg/time three times per oral day.Treatment group in the control group on the basis of drug treatment plus acupuncture cupping combined with acupuncture treatment.Both groups were treated for 14 days(2 weeks)to evaluate the efficacy.During the treatment,the comprehensive efficacy evaluation,pain evaluation index(VAS score),herpes symptom duration comparison index(antiblister time,escharing time,escharing time)and the occurrence of postherpetic neuralgia(PHN)after treatment were recorded in both groups.All data were analyzed by statistical software SPSS22.0.Results:1.Comparison of comprehensive efficacy between the two groups,The control group included33 patients:There were 15 cases cured,10 cases obvious effect,5 cases effective,3 cases ineffective,and the effective rate was 75.76%;The 33 patients in the treatment group were cured in 23 cases,effective in 7 cases,effective in 3 cases,ineffective in 0 cases,and effective in 90.91%;After treatment,the comprehensive efficacy score of the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group.Statistical analysis showed that the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the treatment group had significant efficacy.2.After statistical analysis,there was no statistically significant difference in pain intensity scores between the treatment group and the control group(P>0.05),which was comparable.After treatment,the pain intensity relief in the treatment group was significantly better than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).3.The time duration of herpes zoster symptoms(antiblister time,escharing time and escharing time)were better than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.After statistical analysis,On the 30th day after treatment,X~2=5.444,P=0.020,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the treatment group had better efficacy than the control group during this period;On the 60th day after treatment,X~2=0.667,P=0.414;On the 90th day after treatment,X~2=0.333,P=0.564,and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05),indicating that the difference in efficacy between the two groups was similar during the two periods.5.Safety index:all patients did not have any adverse reactions during the treatment,such as infection,needle sickness,halo pot,needle stagnation,chest tightness,etc.Conclusion:1.Acupuncture and cupping therapy combined with periacupuncture and drug therapy can effectively treat acute herpes zoster,and has significant advantages in comprehensive efficacy,pain relief,herpes symptom duration and postherpetic neuralgia.2.Acupuncture and collaterals cupping combined with peri-acupuncture is simple and effective,easy to be accepted by the majority of patients,worthy of clinical promotion and application.
