Purpose: To observe the effect of traditional Chinese medicine acupuncture combined with western medicine on visual function of angle closure glaucoma patients after laser treatment.Materials and methods: From September 2017 to December 2018,he was treated in Shenyang Ophthalmology Hospital. After being treated by ophthalmologists, western medicine was diagnosed as primary angle-closure glaucoma(remission stage). After laser treatment, the intraocular pressure was controlled and stable. At the same time,70 patients with stagnation of liver qi and fire were randomly divided into observation group(37 cases / 70 eyes)and control group(33 cases / 65 eyes). The patients in the control group were treated with bromonidine tartrate eye drops, and the observation group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine acupuncture on the basis of the treatment scheme of the control group. After 4 weeks of treatment, watch Visual acuity, intraocular pressure,TCM syndrome score, visual field index, density of blood vessels around optic disc and thickness of optic nerve fiber layer were observed in the two groups.Result:1.In improving the visual acuity of the patients, the effective rate was 83.88% in the observation group and 45.16% in the control group. There was significant difference between the two groups after treatment(P < 0.05).2.The IOP of the patients in the experimental group was better than that in the control group after treatment(P < 0.05),and there was a significant difference between the two groups(P < 0.05).The IOP of the patients in the experimental group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P < 0.05).3.There was significant difference in TCM syndrome score between the two groups before and after treatment(P < 0.05),and there was significant difference in TCM syndrome score between the two groups after treatment(P < 0.05).In the evaluation of the curative effect of TCM syndrome integral, the effective rate was 96.78% in theobservation group and 80.65% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).4.After treatment, the visual field index of the patients in the observation group was significantly different from that before treatment(P < 0.05).After treatment, the visual field index of the control group was not significantly different from that before treatment(P > 0.05),but there was significant difference between the two groups(P <0.05).5.After treatment, there was no significant difference in the density of perioptic vessels and the thickness of optic nerve fiber layer between the two groups(P > 0.05).Conclusion:1.Acupuncture combined with western medicine has a certain effect on the recovery of visual function in patients with angle-closure glaucoma after laser treatment, and the curative effect is better than that of western medicine for reducing intraocular pressure, which is worthy of further exploration.2.Acupuncture combined with western medicine is effective in controlling intraocular pressure(IOP)in patients with angle-closure glaucoma after laser treatment, and it is superior to western medicine in reducing intraocular pressure(IOP)alone.3.Acupuncture combined with western medicine is effective in helping patients with angle-closure glaucoma to improve TCM syndromes after laser treatment, and it is superior to western medicine in reducing intraocular pressure.
