Purpose:To study the Correlation of microalbuminuria and TCM syndromes in patients with essential hypertension.Material and method:A total of 254 participants were enrolled in the study, including original name, gender, age,BMI,clinic blood pressure, family history of hypertension, history of diabetes, smoking history, drinking history, high salt diet, current medication regimen and condition of blood pressure control. The ‘TCM dialectical typing record table of hypertension' was selected and the TCM syndrome differentiation was carried out on the selected subjects. The urinary microalbumin to creatinine ratio(UACR)was determined by dry chemical dipstick method.Analyze the differences and dialectical relevance between the groups. Results: 1.The total detection rate of MAU among hypertension patients in this study was 55.12%(140/254).The detection rate of male patients was 52% and that of female patients was 41%(P> 0.05).The detection rate of stage 3 hypertension(76.0%)was higher than that of stage 2 hypertension(62.3%)and stage 1 hypertension(49.4%).The detection rate of MAU increased with the increase of stage among hypertension patients(?2= 7.894,P = 0.019).The systolic blood pressure in MAU group was significantly higher than that in EH group(P <0.05).The systolic blood pressure was positively correlated with UACR level(P <0.01).The pulse pressure in MAU group was significantly higher than that in EH group(P <0.05).The detection rate of hypertension over 20 years(80.6%)was significantly higher than that of the other four groups(?2= 13.180,P = 0.010).Logistic regression analysis showed that MAU was associated with more than 20 years of hypertension history(P = 0.023).2.In this study, the detection rate of MAU was 61.1% in hypertension patients with diabetes, and 53.5% in patients without diabetes(P> 0.05).The detection rate of MAU in ACEI / ARB group was 57.8%,and that of ACEI / ARB group was 53.1%(P> 0.05).The number of high salt diet in MAU group was more than that in EH group(P <0.05).3.The largest number of TCM syndrome types in this study was liver-heat hyperactivity syndrome(99 cases,38.98%),followed by phlegm-dampness syndrome > yin-deficiency yang-hyperactivity syndrome > yin-yang deficiency syndrome. No significant difference was found in the distribution of TCM syndrome types between the genders, the duration of hypertension and the stage of hypertension(P> 0.05).4.Yin-yang deficiency syndrome had the highest detection rate of MAU in this study, followed by yin-deficiency yang-hyperactivity syndrome and phlegm-dampness syndrome. The level of UACR in yin-yang deficiency syndrome group was higher than that in phlegm-dampness syndrome and yin-deficiency yang-hyperactivity syndrome(P <0.05).Conclusion: 1.The total detection rate of microalbuminuria among hypertension patients in this study was 55.12%,and it was associated with an increase in the stage of hypertension, the level of systolic blood pressure, the level of pulse pressure, and the increase in the disease course of hypertension.2.In this study, the level of UACR of yin-yang deficiency syndrome group was higher than that of phlegm dampness syndrome group and yin-deficiency yang-hyperactivity syndrome.
