Observation On The Effect Of Percutaneous Prying Reduction And Hollow Screw Fixation Combined With Fumigation And Washing Granules In The Treatment Of Calcaneal Fracture

Purpose:To observe the clinical efficacy of poking reduction and internal fixation with cannulated screw combining with Xun Xi Ke Li for calcaneal fractures.Materials and methods:From October 2015 to August 2017,30 cases(34 feet)of calcaneal fractures treated in the Orthopedics Dept of the Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of TCM were chosen.They were treated with poking reduction and cannulated screw fixation,combining with gypsum external fixation 6 weeks,Xun Xi Ke Li was performed when gypsum was removed.Following up the patients regularly in the difference of B?hler angle,Gissane angle,VAS and Maryland foot score to evaluate the clinical efficacy.Results:All patients,scores of preoperation were: VAS(7.80�1.126),B?hler angle(12.47�6.496),Gissane angle(103.71�18.053);the first day postoperation were:B?hler angle(29.03�7.416),Gissane angle(126.06�6.513);6 weeks postoperation were:VAS(1.03�1.497),Maryland foot score(65.97�7.103),B?hler angle(27.62�7.139),Gissane angle(124.41�6.574);12 weeks postoperation were:VAS(0.43�0.858),Maryland score(83.09�9.057),B?hler angle(26.24�6.885),Gissane angle(123.18�6.515);6 months postoperation were:VAS(0.33�0.922),Maryland score(88.59�9.069),B?hler score(26.24�6.679),Gissane angle(123.03 �6.553).The indexes were improved obviously compared with those preoperative,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).The B?hler angle and Gissane angle at 6 weeks,12 weeks,6 months postoperation were smaller than those on the first day postoperation,the difference was not statistically significant(P >0.05).Conclusions:1.Poking reduction is a simple and effective minimally invasive procedure for the fractures of tongue-type,Sanders type ? and ?,which has no soft tissue complications.2 Xun Xi Ke Li can effectively promote foot and ankle function recovery,improve the Maryland foot score,but further RCTs are needed to verify its clinical efficacy.
