Purpose:To observe cancer patients' emotional abnormalities including main characteristics,distribution in different stages and changing rules of the abnormalities in the treatment on tumor itself and patients' physical symptoms at the same time,under the guidance of shape and spirit theory.And to evaluate patients' shape and spirit state,early detect and response to the patient's emotional abnormalities,comprehensively improve patients' quality of life in different stages of the disease,with different abnormal emotional characteristics.Material and method:To observe cancer patients' emotional abnormalities including main characteristics,distribution in different stages and changing rules of the abnormalities in the treatment on tumor itself and patients' physical symptoms at the same time,under the guidance of shape and spirit theory.And to evaluate patients' shape and spirit state,early detect and response to the patient's emotional abnormalities,comprehensively improve patients' quality of life in different stages of the disease,with different abnormal emotional characteristics.Results: 1.There were different degrees and different types of emotional abnormalities generally exists in 63 cancer patients.2.In general,the emotional abnormality of malignant tumor patients was mainly anxiousness and over-thought.And distribution,characteristics and trends differed with different stages of the patients,the progress of the disease,the severity of clinical symptoms and other factors.3.The emotional abnormality of patients in disease-free rehabilitation period is single and mild.Survivors with tumor had obvious abnormal emotions and often had multiple emotions.Compared with the first two periods,the abnormality of sadness and fear in hospice patients increased significantly.Conclusion: 1.Disease-free rehabilitation period patients emphasize comprehensive mental adjustment.Attentions should be paid on physical symptoms and at the same time mental adjustment.For those patients with mild physical symptoms and severe emotional abnormalities,mental adjustment should be main treatment.Abnormal emotions should be intervened in time,in case of too much emotion causing pathogenic affects.2.Survivors with tumor need both shape and spirit treatment because of theirs complex and changeable condition,in order to prevent patients from compliance reduction which will delay treatment,or from exacerbation and changing because of emotions going extreme.3.For hospice patients with excess of pathogen and deficiency of vital qi,treatment on spirit should be prior.Especially when the patient's physical symptoms are difficult to alleviate,more attention should be paid to the spiritual world.Identifying the abnormal emotions as soon as possible,smoothing emotions with drugs,conversations and even music aromatherapy,is of great significance to improving the quality of life on the deathbed.
