Professor Wang Xin's Experience In The Treatment Of Deficient Postpartum Disease By Using The "Syin-Syong" Method

Objective: Treating obstruction with tonics is the representative of the TCM retrograde treatment,which is used tonic medicine to treat the symptoms of occlusion caused by deficiency.If clinical manifestations of diseases are symptoms of occlusion,we usually called them excess syndromes.However,if the essence of disease is deficiency,that is the syndrome of true deficiency disease with false excessive manifestation.We cannot treat them as excess syndromes.Thus,the method of treating obstruction with tonics is a great way to deal with such complicated disease.Treating obstruction with tonics as the right way to cure the true deficiency disease with false excessive manifestation,it has been continuously applied by doctors for generation,and its representative prescriptions have been widely applied to various clinical departments.The disease that occurs after childbirth or in the puerperium,and has relation to childbirth or puerperal,is called postpartum disease.With the implementation of the "second child" policy,the number of female births increased.The incidence of puerperal disease is also on the rise.Postpartum disease is diverse,and the pathogenesis is complicated,which is closely related to the special physiological state of postpartum women.Postpartum women are in the condition of excessive bleeding,impairment of fluid and viscera injury,often occurred the symptoms of occlusion caused by physical weakness such as postpartum retention of urine,puerperal constipation,postpartum hypogalactia,amenorrhea,stuffiness.Such diseases which performance is inconsistent with its internal cause,often mislead the doctor.With the wrong direction of treatment,leads to the failure of opening blocking syndrome and makes the human body weaker.The clinical syndrome and pathogenesis of postpartum disease is so complicated that medical experts have different views.My professor Wang Xin has the opinion that the pathogenesis of postpartum disease is the weakness of the physical condition after childbirth,especially the deficiency of qi and blood.It can be variety of manifestations,including a state characterized by external occlusion.So the Internal weakness of body leads to the external symptoms of occlusion.Subsequently,it is found that the internal relation between the postpartum disease of obstructive performance with the therapy of treating obstruction with tonics.In a word,we should relieve the symptoms of occlusion with tonifying.That is treating disease from the root.In addition,the teacher also integrated the theory of same treatment to different diseases in her academic idea.She not only pays attention to differentiation of syndrome about one person,but also focuses on the summary of a certain kind of disease.I have the honor to learn from her,selecting the typical cases which is postpartum disease with symptoms of occlusion caused by weakened body resistance.to analyze the teacher's clinical dialectical thinking,and summarize the clinical experience.And try to provide broader ideas of diagnosis and treatment for the complicated and changeable postpartum disease.
