Metrorrhagia is one of the most common and complicated diseases in gynecology.Its clinical manifestation is the large amount of vaginal bleeding in the non-menstrual period which the bloodshed amount goes up and down or the bleeding of vagina is endless.The Metrorrhagia belongs to the abnormal uterine bleeding caused by ovulatory dysfunction in Western Medicine,short for AUB-O.The causes of Metrorrhagia are complicated,including kidney deficiency,spleen deficiency,blood heat and blood stasis.Professor Wang Xin has been engaged in the Traditional Chinese Medicine for more than 30 years and she has her own unique opinions on the metrorrhagia.Professor Wang believes that the basic pathogenesis of this disease is qi-stagnancy and blood stasis.When Professor Wang clinically treats Metrorrhagia,separate treatment from qi-deficiency and blood-deficiency.In hemorrhage acute time,promoting blood circulation for removing blood stasis in order to invigorate qi and enrich blood,then cure with achieve solid-impingement hemostasis.To the patient who with metrostaxis,stasis in order to invigorate qi and enrich blood,then cure with Decoction for removing membrane.After reducing the flow of blood,replenishing qi to invigorate the spleen to achieve solid-impingement hemostasis,then cure with gas-solid soup.After stanching bleeding,the method of four steps is adopted to restore the normal menstrual cycle and menstrual period according to the yin and yang changing law of menses.The combination of guiding patients to change their lifestyle and psychological nursing can significantly improve the clinical efficacy and reduce the recurrence rate of Metrorrhagia.
