Objective:Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)has unique advantages in treating pulmonary collateral diseases such as small airway obstruction caused by smoking and withdrawal reaction of smokers. The key to TCM syndrome differentiation and treatment is to have a clear understanding of syndrome,so it is particularly important to study the syndrome of small airway obstruction in smokers.Under the guidance of the theoretical knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine, through literature research, epidemiological and syndrome investigation, this paper uses cluster analysis method to discuss the distribution characteristics of syndrome types of the disease, and provides reference for the treatment of syndrome differentiation and scientific research.Methodology:This study will collect 188 cases of smokers with small airway obstruction information into Excel software, establish a database, use SPSS20.0 software statistical analysis of data frequency and frequency, correlation analysis using bivariate correlation analysis, traditional Chinese medicine syndrome information using cluster analysis. To study the distribution of common syndromes of the disease.Results:1.General data results:188 smokers with small airway obstruction were collected in this study.Among them, the youngest was 32 years old,the oldest was 70 years old,the average age was 53.44±7.29 years old,168 males and 20 females.Statistical analysis was made on the collected data:①the characteristics of the age group of onset:the highest incidence(64%)was in the middle-aged group, especially between 50 and 60 years old;②the gender characteristics of onset:males were significantly higher than females, and the ratio of males to females was 8.4:1;③the characteristics of onset weight:the incidence of normal weight and obese people was higher,55%and 37%respectively;④FVC(%),FEV1(%),FEV1/FVC,FEF50%,FEF 50%.The relationship between 75%and FEF 25%-75%and age,sex and weight of patients:the indexes of the elderly group are the lowest, and those of the youth group are the best;the indexes of men are slightly higher than those of women;those of normal weight are higher than those of abnormal weight;⑤The distribution of smoking age, daily smoking volume and smoking index:the smallest smoking age is 9 years, the oldest smoking age is 55 years, the average smoking age is 21.18 years, the year. The largest proportion was over 20 years of age(52%);the smallest smoking amount was 10 cigarettes per day,the largest was 60 cigarettes per day,and the average daily smoking amount was 19.20 cigarettes per day;the lowest smoking index was 100 cigarettes per year, the highest was 1100 cigarettes per year, and the average smoking index was 397.79 cigarettes per year;⑥FVC(%),FEV1(%),FEV1/FVC,FEF50%,FEF75%,FEF25%-75%were related to smoking age, daily smoking amount and smoking index:with smoking age, daily smoking amount and smoking index:With the increase of age,all indexes of patients have a downward trend, but the influence of age factors can not be excluded;single study on the influence of daily smoking on small airway function is not significant, and should be combined with the length of smoking comprehensive analysis;smoking index is a comprehensive index to study the smoking situation of smokers, the higher the smoking index, the worse the pulmonary function, especially in response to small airway obstruction FEF 50%.The index of FEF 75%and FEF 25%-75%decreased more obviously.2.In TCM syndromes:①The main four diagnostic information:phlegm(white phlegm, viscous phlegm, excessive phlegm, prone to cough),cough(heavy turbid cough is common),chest tightness, pale red tongue, white coating, greasy, pulse string, pulse slippery;②Disease location:the main disease location is in the lung(mainly in the lung collaterals),and also related to liver, spleen and kidney;③Disease nature:deficiency and excess; The empirical results are the most.Deficiency syndrome is mainly Qi deficiency and Yin deficiency;the empirical evidence shows phlegm turbidity, blood stasis,phlegm-heat and Qi stagnation;④the distribution of syndrome types:through cluster analysis, the disease is initially divided into eight types:syndrome of phlegm-dampness obstructing the lung, syndrome of blood stasis, syndrome of liver-lung disharmony, syndrome of phlegm-heat retention in the lung;deficiency syndrome of lung-qi deficiency, syndrome of lung-yin deficiency, syndrome of spleen-qi deficiency, syndrome of kidney-qi deficiency.
