| Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy and security of Shenhuangxiaoying decoction in the treatment of Hashimoto Thyroiditis(HT)with Qi and Yin Deficiency.Methods: 60 cases that met the inclusion criteria were observed.The patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group according to the order of treatment.The control group received basic treatment while the treatment group was treated with shenhuangxiao decoction in addition to the therapy of control group.The experiment had been completed when the number of observed cases reached 60,including30 cases in the control group and 30 cases in the treatment group.The TCM symptom score,FT3,FT4,TSH,TGAb,TPOAb,thyroid diameter and other indicators were observed before and after treatment in two groups of HT patients,and all data were analyzed by SPSS20.0 statistical software.Results: Before the experimen,the general clinical data of the two groups including sex,age and course of disease,as well as the effect of TCM syndrome,the base lines of TCM syndrome score,the effect of disease,thyroid function,thyroid-related antibody and thyroid diameter before the experiment were compared,showing no statistical difference(P>0.05)and being comparable.Comparison of the decrease level of TCM syndrome scores,thyroid function,thyroid related antibodies,and thyroid diameter between the two groups after the experiment shows statistically significant(P<0.05);Syndrome efficacy evaluation: the total effective rate was 83.3% in the treatment group and 23.3% in the control group.Comparison of disease efficacy: the total effective rate was 83.3% in the treatment group and 43.3% in the control group.After statistical treatment,P<0.05,there was a statistical difference.Conclusion: Shenhuang xiaoying decoction can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis with deficiency of Qi and Yin,regulate the level of thyroid hormone,reduce the level of thyroid-relatedantibody titer,and reduce the size of the enlarged thyroid gland. |
