Research On The Influencing Factors Of Suicidal Ideation Of Male Prisoners With Antisocial Personality

Antisocial personality disorder(ASPD)is characterized by an enduring pattern of unlawful behavior,aggressive,deceitfulness,impulsivity,antisocial personality disorder offenders accounted for a high proportion of the prisoners.Because of the characteristics of irritability,aggressiveness,reckless disregard for the welfare of others and remorselessness,the group is prone to numerous management problems.This study explores the suicidal ideation and factors that affect the suicidal ideation of male antisocial personality inmates in order to reduce the suicide rate of this group and increase their mental health level.It is meaningful to manage prisons effectively.1157 male inmates were included in this study.They were divided into antisocial personality inmates group(n=440)and prison control group(n=717).The differences in suicide ideation and mental health factors between the two groups of inmates were compared.And explore the factors that affect the suicidal ideation of male prisoners with antisocial personality.SPSS22.0 was used for data analysis,followed by descriptive statistics,differential analysis,correlation analysis,and multiple linear stepwise regression analysis.The results showed that:(1)The incidence rate of suicidal ideation and suicide history among antisocial personality inmates were 28.64%and 5.68%respectively,higher than the incidence rate in prison control group,7.11%and 1.67%respectively,the difference was statistically significant(p<0.01).(2)Antisocial personality inmates in anxiety,depression,impulsiveness scale and all dimensions were higher than the prison control group,the difference was statistically significant(p<0.01).(3)The dimension score of the impulsivity scale was used to establish multivariate linear regression model,depression,unplanned impulsivity,anxiety and suicide history had a positive predictive value for suicide ideation(R2=0.39,SIOSS=0.54 + 0.30 × depression + 0.17 × unplanned impulsivity + 0.15 × anxiety + 2.07 ×suicide history),which explained 39%of variation(p<0.01).This study concludes that compared with the prison control group,male antisocial personality inmates have more serious suicidal ideation,and depression,unplanned impulsivity,anxiety and suicide history can significantly predict the production of suicidal ideation.
