A Study On The Behavioral Problems Of Preschool Children In Jiangsu Province And Their Relationship With The Family Nurturing Environment

Objective To understand current preschool children's behavioral problems and family parenting environment in Jiangsu Province,analyze the factors affecting behavioral problems,and explore the relationship between behavioral problems and family upbringing environment,in order to provide theoretical basis for early intervention in children's behavioral problems.Methods A cross-sectional survey and cluster random sampling method were used to collect 1190 preschool children aged 4 to 6 years from 5 cities in Nanjing,Nantong,Nantong,Zhenjiang,Suqian and Yancheng,and self-made questionnaires,children behavior checklist and 3~6-year-old family care environment scale were applied.Related software was used to evaluate the behavior scale and family environment scale.SPSS22.0 statistical analysis software was used,chi square test and Logistic regression analysis were used to analyze the data.Results The prevalence of preschool children's behavioral problems was 7.81%.The top three behavioral factors of boys were split-like,attacked and disciplined and for girls the factors were immature,sexual problems and split-like.Multivariate Logistic regression results showed that the effect of understanding degree,interaction time,mother's educational level,0-6 month feeding mode,birth status and birth status on the behavior of preschool children was statistically significant.The detection rate of bad family fostering environment was 13.11%.The difference in the rate of behavioral detection under different family fostering environments was statistically significant.The main family environmental factors affecting the behavioral problems of preschool children were mainly “neglect of interference" and "environmental atmosphere".Conclusions The family environment of preschool children in Jiangsu province is not optimistic.The family environment has a significant impact on the behavior of preschool children.Establishing a good family environment is particularly important for promoting the development of behavioral health of preschool children.
