In recent years,the relationship between doctors and patients has become increasingly subtle due to the marketization of the medical industry,and the frequency of malignant doctor-patient disputes such as injuries to doctors has been increasing.In the current increasingly complex social environment and medical environment,the tension between doctors and patients not only hurts both the doctor's and the patient's feelings,but also is not conducive to the treatment of patients' diseases and is not conducive to social stability.When doctor-patient relationship has become a sensitive issue that seriously affects social stability,the media will pay more attention to the reporting of doctor-patient relationship.The media,as a disseminator of social information and a guide of public opinion,how to report on the doctor-patient relationship has a major impact on the relaxation of the doctor-patient relationship and the stability of the social order.The number of Internet users in China is huge and increasing year by year.As a“fourth media”,online media provides a quicker and more convenient way for netizens to obtain news and share information.More people choose to access news and information through the Internet.How the online media reports on the relationship between doctors and patients,whether there is misconduct and how to improve them are all significant topics worth studying.The paper selected Sina.com as the source of sample selection,and selected the report on doctor-patient relationship in the past three years as a sample.From the perspective of balanced reporting,the imbalance phenomenon and impact of online media in the report of doctor-patient relationship were discussed.Reasons,and on this basis put forward suggestions for improvement.The paper first summarizes the major concepts and status quo of the online media,doctor-patient relationship reports,and balanced reports involved in the research,and explains the background of the research,narrates and comments the research results related to the doctor-patient relationship in the online media,briefly introduces research methods and innovations.Afterwards,the paper expounds therealistic development of domestic and international balanced reports.Taking the sample of Sina News as an example,the paper analyzes the content of doctor-patient relationship reports on the Sina News from two aspects: the form of the report and the content of the report.Next,based on the analysis of Sina.com's sample content,the paper summarizes the performance of imbalanced reports of doctors and patients in online media,and thus explores the possible impact of the unbalanced report on doctor-patient relationship in online media,from the objective conditions,the communicators themselves,and starting from the three major aspects of the relationship between economic interests,the analysis of the reasons for the imbalance of the doctor-patient relationship in the online media is analyzed.Finally,based on the reasons for the unbalanced report on doctor-patient relationship in the online media summarized in the previous article,a strategy to achieve balanced reporting of doctor-patient relationship in online media is proposed from the three levels of government,media,and balance.In the process of reprinting news about doctor-patient relationship news,the online media has experienced imbalances in the amount of information,sources of news,and fact choices.The reason for this is that there are objective conditions,as well as the reason of communicators themselves and economic interests.To achieve the balanced on doctor-patient relationship through Internet media,not only needs the national government to create a loose media environment without losing the law,but also need to enhance the media literacy of the public;media should mutually agree and abide by certain regulations,strengthen mutual supervision to achieve self-discipline,and enhance the professional quality of the media work team;from the micro level,the media in the coverage of doctor-patient relationship news should grasp the balance of the basic elements.Only by making adjustments at the same time on the macro level,meso level,and micro level can the balance of doctor-patient relationship reporting in the online media be achieved.
