The phenomenon of arable land fragmentation is widespread in all regions of the country. The present situation of arable land fragmentation hinders the development of agriculture, restricts the development of rural economy,is not conducive to liberating rural productivity and building a new socialist countryside.Reducing arable land fragmentation is an important measure to realize large-scale management of agriculture and accelerate agricultural development.Jizhou District occupies more cultivated land resources in Tianjin and has more agricultural population. It is an important grain producing area in Tianjin.Jizhou District is a representative area for the study. This paper takes Jizhou District as the research area, based on the research of relevant theories and practices at home and abroad, taking land consolidation and management theory, landscape ecological theory,human-land coordination theory and sustainable development theory as the theoretical basis, analyses the environmental status of Jizhou District, constructs the evaluation index system of cultivated land fragmentation in Jizhou District, and fines the process of cultivated land fragmentation in Jizhou District.Quantitative evaluation was carried out to explain the key influencing factors of cultivated land fragmentation in Jizhou District, and specific measures to improve the problem of cultivated land fragmentation in Jizhou District were put forward. The main research contents and achievements are as follows:(1)There are obvious differences in the degree of fragmentation among the townships in the study area. The townships with the highest degree of fragmentation are Yuyang Town,500 households Town,Luozhuangzi Town,Bangjun Town,Bishan Towin,Manchu Township of Sun Gezhuang,Guanzhuang Town,Mazhanqiao Town and Chuanfangyu Township, which are mainly distributed in the north and central part of the study area. The townships with higher degree of land fragmentation in turn are Qunyou Town,Tuitouling Town,Xiaying Town,Limingzhuang Township,Baijian Town,Xilonghuyu Town,Dongshigu Town,Xiacang Town and Yangjin Town. The townships with the lowest degree of land fragmentation in turn are Xiawatou Town,Xujiatai Township,Houjiaying Town,Dongerying Township,Dongzhao Township and Shangzhao Township.Cangzhen,Youguzhuang Town and Sangzi Town are distributed in the South and west. The fragmentation degree of each township is greatly influenced by landscape pattern index.(2)The influencing factors of cultivated land fragmentation in Jizhou can be summarized as natural,socio-economic and institutional factors. The natural level mainly includes mountain and hilly terrain factors, soil erosion and other natural disaster factors. In view of this factor,we should actively carry out effective land remediation.Among them, the natural endowment of cultivated land in hilly areas is relatively poor.We can adopt recuperation and rest or fallow farming rotation to drive the virtuous circle of farmland ecosystem. The system level mainly reflects the status of large population and small land and the fragmentation of farmland caused by the refonn of rural land system. We should improve the system of farmland transfer and promote the moderate scale management of cultivated land. The social and economic level is mainly reflected in industrial adjustment and labor transfer.Supporting characteristic industries in towns and villages and transferring surplus rural labor force.
