This paper takes a wet dual clutch of a passenger car of a company as the research object,combines the finite element method and the finite difference method to simulate and analyze the frictional temperature field of the multi-plate pairs frightened by the worming condition of the clutch,finds out the easily invalid components,parts and causes of the non-uniformity of the temperature field,and puts forward reasonable improvement measures.Firstly,the two-dimensional contact finite element model of multi-plate clutch friction pair was established by using finite element software ABAQUS.The components of friction system were simplified,geometrically constructed and meshed.The initial and boundary conditions were determined.The contact pressure of each friction surface under actual constraints was analyzed and calculated under the condition of vehicle creeping.Secondly,based on the contact pressure obtained by ABAQUS analysis as the main heat producing factor,the implicit difference method was used to discretize the two-dimensional heat conduction process and solution conditions of the wet clutch,and the MATLAB programming language was used to describe the geometry construction,meshing and difference format establishment of the thermal model of the friction system,and to solve the numerical solution of the temperature field of the friction pairs of multi-slice clutch.The constant speed sliding test of wet clutch friction tester simulated the worming condition of vehicles,and collected the radial temperature signals of different steel sheets during the sliding process.The simulation values are basically consistent with the experimental values,and the model has certain correctness.Finally,the influence of structure size and restraint form on temperature field is analyzed.Considering the axial layout,torsion transfer capacity and development cost of the clutch,an improved scheme is proposed to reduce the thickness of the separating steel sheet,increase the thickness of the adjusting steel sheet and adopt the pressure finger piston,which can effectively reduce the maximum temperature rise and radial temperature difference,and avoid the thermal deformation and failure of the components due to the uneven distribution of the temperature field.
